Why do people praise this piece of shit?
Why do people praise this piece of shit?
DUDE JUST LEVEL UP LMAO
They certainly don't praise it for the combat.
already did
Combat was a disgusting mix of live action and dice rolls.
It didn't work very well.
you've got no stamina, you need that to hit stuff.
um..... hello??
>playing melee
>in morrowind
In the first WebM you posted your stamina is entirely drained
Morrowind Combat: Awful
Oblivion Combat: Serviceable, but not fun
Skyrim Combat: Better but still dated
Why do people praise elder Scrolls anyway?
Seriously. I spent about 300 hours in morrowind, 200 in Oblivion and 90+ in Skyrim.
And I still don't get it
Inb4
> LOLE, why you keep on playing then if you don't like it?
That's the same as asking "why would you dislike a video of you don't like it"
combat in morrowind is not great but you don't know how to play this game at all. you have to have stamina to hit in combat.
Because of the story. I loved it because of the various people and factions bicker over one another about the interpretation of the nevaraine's legend and prophecy.
The shitty combat is one thing, but the cliff racers ruin the game.
I mean... Why do you have so many hours?
bait confirmed. Thanks, user
>Seriously. I spent about 300 hours in morrowind, 200 in Oblivion and 90+ in Skyrim.
>And I still don't get it
>600+ hours
Morrowind may have dogshit combat but it's still GOAT
Witcher 3 on the other hand?
>so many
>590
Is this bait?
Fake as fuck my man. Try making it less obvious next time
Get new webms; these have already been debunked.
Yes, absolutely that's a lot.
Its not about the combat, its about the encyclopedic npcs, and exploring the brown world as a snail
...
>people still fall for these bait webms
are you guys blind or do you never go into morrowind threads?
I have that completeonist mindset that forces me to do all side missions that I can before proceeding to main story. Until I get bored, of course, hence playtime getting lower on later games.
I guess that I also have this natural ability to mindlessly consume boring and repetitive content without complaining much. It's just later when I realise what kind of garbage I wasted my time on.
Skyrim combat was garbage. felt like you were swinging your arms underwater.
i don't see the problem?
youll never be a facebook dad leveling up his games
Im unsure of what type of monster you are. The only reason to play any elder scrolls game is for the story bits. Oblivion tricked people into thinking it was a combat/character based game.
Tbf that thing would kill you irl
If story is really is only reason, the these games would work out better as film or """games""" like heavy rain or life is strange. You could even incorporate side quests in dialogue options that cut to some side story or something. Developers even could focus more on letting player develope characteristics of their character adding to role-playing aspect. But then you realise that what you get is Fallout 4 but without fighting monsters, managing settlements and exploring the map.
And, yeah
>Fallout 4
>Story
Oh, yeah, we are talking about elder Scrolls, not Fallout 4. I'm sure someone would call me out on this, so I must say, that I brought up Fallout 4's horrible story because I just unrevealed idea of focusing on the story in ES games and said that it will be the same as Fallout 4 but without anything that makes it barely interesting.
>slower than a snail
>positioning of legs means that like crabs, cant turn easily
>can only attack with pincers in front
nah
you might not be able to kill a mudcrab irl since they have tough shells, but you would never be in danger from one. just fuckin walk away he can't catch you. or stand behind him. or hold it still by holding the top of the shell and watching flail its pincers around not able to reach you like the little kid when you held is head and he tried to punch you
To be honest I think that ES plots suffer from the same problems as Fallout 4.
>Morrowind
Player is some sort of chosen guy so he must kill some guy because he's gonna take over the world or something
>Oblivion
It's ok, I liked it, it's pretty fun that main character just so happened to be in exact prison cell that emperor needed.
>Skyrim
Character is a chosen one and he must kill old dragon because he wants to take over the world or something.
not a big fan of ES but everyone knows the combat was always shit. people play this to explore
Why do people praise this piece of shit?
rose colored glasses of nostalgia
morroshit was shit even when it came out, fuckin crashing unplayable mess lol
skyrim fucking destroyed that game , better in every aspect , better mods everything
>Player is some sort of chosen guy so he must kill some guy because he's gonna take over the world or something
Why feel the need to express your opinion on something you clearly don't know anything about?
Skyrim's combat is objectively worse than Morrowind's. You're just talking about graphics/animations, which of course the newer game has an advantage with.
