All of them

what do people like about him?
his character, I mean, not the fight.

What exactly is the point of this thread? No one here is going to post anything of worth; it's just going to be random images of objectively good boss fights, solely to be contrarian to whatever happens to be popular.

Also, Sif is the most overated boss fight from a game play standard. His lore is cool, but mechanics wise it's only two gimmicks he throws at you and the AI isn't good enough to be a challenge.

le Guts ripoff

He's debateably the only morally correct character in the whole series, who sacrificed himself to the abyss to save his comrades.

For me, there's really no contest for Ludwig being the best boss from the entire Soulsborne series, and being the best boss from Dark Souls.

Ludwig's fight was incredibly cinematic, epic, had great music, and was fun.

Which bosses are better?

These two for sure.
Garbage.

>Throwing your life away with no chance of success or aiding anyone is the right choice.
He's history's biggest jobber.

This.

Whenever someone says something is the Dark Souls of x, I immediately think of these two and how people think they're the hardest bosses of all time.

>big sword
>pet wolf
>loved by a qt
>turned evil against his will
>one of the strongest knights in the world
>remembered as a great hero
He's edgy and simpletons want to be him.

He's the Shadow the Hedgehog of Dark Souls.

>Overrated

Artorias is the best because of the lead up to his fight. If you were following the lore at the time, it was one of the best payoffs in the series. His music and screams are great.

Ludwig is a terrible boss design. The music is great but overall his character model is uninspired and I honestly don't understand what people like about it. Even the boss room feels like a million other things we've seen in the Souls series or even in Bloodborne itself.

Why does this quote make people here absolutely flip their shit? Is there even any lore or context or is it just le ebin moment?

t. Never played bloodborne

This.

Every DaS3 thread you fuckers praise this fight as if she didn't have a boring moveset, boring music, and does nothing new in general. She's always high on everyone's Souls bosses lists both on and off Sup Forums.
Vordt was funner than this.

It especially pisses me off that people hype up these two when you consider how fucking broken Ornstein is. He has all kinds of collision issues and big Ornstein's attacks are full of "shockwaves". Both of them really have some shockwave and collision issues but Ornstein is easily the worst of the two.

The sword makes him reclaim some of his sanity.

>boring music
fuck outta here with your awful opinion

ludwig is known as a legendary knight type of character, hence why he turned into a horse looking abomination (a noble animal). he's all fucked up in the beginning but when the second phase begins the cutscene starts (where he finds his sword) and he regains some sanity and he stands on 2 legs again. like the man he once was. after the fight you can talk to his head and he'll ask you about the hunters he created and if they were honorable as he intended.

Still overrated.

>The music is great but overall his character model is uninspired

Yeah, I saw so many beastly horse-human fusions with leech mouth on neck and massive sword in hands like Ludwig. I never saw big humanoid in armor and sword in Souls or any game ever though.

maria cute

Literally just pretentious fags. No one even knew who he was at first until people pointed it out to each other. Think about it, the only people who care are the anime weeb fags who keep images of the doll on their computer. Fucking fags

I'll have to agree with this one. People like to claim it's the best 2-enemies boss fight, but it's so incredibly broken that I just don't see it. I feel like everyone excuses their flaws because of how cool they look and because you can abuse their AI with the pillars.

Retard

I think Manus is okay in terms of gameplay but I think he's fucking awful from a design perspective and it ruins the fight for me. His look doesn't match anything else in the game (including other enemies that supposedly come from the Abyss), the spring arm is just plain goofy and he's so over designed that he wouldn't look out of place in Battleborn.
