I especially like his Sonic reviews. He's got a good knowledge of the franchise and usually raises some interesting points. That said, he's more enamoured with the Genesis games than I am so I take those reviews with a pinch of salt.

His latest Kingdom Hearts spinoff reviews really bother me. I mean he's not wrong about what he says but you can really tell he doesn't care about them, which just makes the reviews feel hollow and pointless.

He's mostly alright. His level of man-childness is to much sometimes though.

I could already tell from the get go that the story portion of his reviews would get increasingly "not giving a shit" as the marathon goes on because Kingdom Hearts has just gone so off the rail and never knows what to do with itself, despite still putting some kind of serious effort into it. I still look forward to these portions because seeing anybody try to recap most KH games will always be amusing to me.

I like him. Whoever drew that picture needs to brush up on their skills, tho, because the actual Jonny is a tubber whose beard isn't stuck to the side of his face.

Obsessively going through the story of fucking Sonic games with a fine tooth comb and pointing out plot holes and inconsistencies and getting genuinely upset over some bullshit melodramatic story that doesn't matter. Its obvious even the fucking writers of the game give less of a shit. His fucking Sonic 06 review is almost an hour long for christ sake. I like him for the most part, but his neckbeard/virgin side just shows to much.

These games tout their stories as one of their selling points, so it makes sense to call them out if they're poorly written. It's not impossible to write good stories with the Sonic characters.

He flat out says he doesn't like or care about the story. He goes pretty in depth with the gameplay segments though.

Damn. His color choice is nice, but the upper and lower portions of his face aren't oriented the same way, and his neck is nowhere near where it should be.

Also dislike his false yelling during his sperg moment on his recent Sonic Mania video about what he loved about the game, since that's straight up Newgrounds voice acting where kids are yelling softly into their mics due to mom and dad being home.

Someone drew that for him around the same time Tee Lopes made his new intro music, though it is refreshing to see someone's imagery look more accurate than stuff like the Grump imagery.

Probably because Elliot is now in college and also delegated now to be the video editor for their channels, which eats up a ton of personal time.

Brainscratch in general is bad, since it's mostly D-Listers of Youtube trying to salvage one of their LPs in a podcast format, as opposed to usually talking about the game itself.

They've been going on for a bit now, like he's just talking in his nice normal tone and suddenly a YOOO! *BADUM TISH* straight out of CSI Miami but yelled into the mic and disregarding how overly loud it is for headphone users.

Speaking of collabs, I'm almost positive by this point that there's no successful youtube collabs, since they're usually extra awkward as one side overpowers the other and the match ups don't work due to audience differences. Stuff like his Megaman series skits come to mind, where different people added nothing of real value and serve as a reminder why skits are bad by this point in time unless it's over the top like James used to do. Also irksome that they can't be assed to sync their footage like to the same framerates or anything, so we have John with 60 FPS and then someone's blown out 20 FPS webcam recording.

Elliot seems like the decent kid who was forced into this lifestyle to be a foil for his brother and his brother's friend to just yell at, as evident when they did their Mario LPs a few years ago.

Honestly, he'd probably be a decent person outside of genetics if his entire purpose for the channel wasn't just to make weird noises and get yelled at by Johnny, as well as now editing the videos and audio due to going to college to essentially learn skills just for LP sake.

His falsetto "woman" voice kills any video they're doing, and dude does it too often.
