No, but it is surprising.

None of my normie friends have said a single thing about the new AssCreed and may not even know it exists - Ubishit overextended themselves way too hard and now no one cares about the series anymore.

Not at all, it means you like a relatively new franchise among all the other overrated stuff that's out there. (yes, Im calling a ten year old franchise 'relatively' new, its only been around since the ps3 / xbox 360 era)

People hate it, people like it, I honestly think it should stay now that they're finally doing a 'requested' time setting.

If the rumors that Bayek will be around for two more games turn out to be shit posting then who knows maybe we'll get other wanted settings.

What's retarded about the hate about this series is the people shitting on it are probably the same hypocrites who buy 'series' games and act like each new game is SO MUCH BETTER than the last yet when Ass Creed does it, its milking

So madden, forza, halo, call of duty, all those other first person shooter games, all the other games that make LOTS of sequels aren't milking though right?

Even dumber still is some people who want the series to stop will be the SAME FUCKING PEOPLE, who if it DOES stop or if Ubisoft were to say something like 'we're considering stopping the series' they would be like: WTF UBISOFT, YOU HAVEN'T MADE A NEW ASS CREED GAME IN A LONG TIME, GET YOUR ASS IN GEAR AND DO SOMETHING FOR YOUR FANS'

Its a series that has some of the most 50 / 50 fans and critics I've seen in quite some time
