I'm fine with this too but my preference is for the female mage to start at level 1 relatively flat and fully clothed and as she masters further greater and more advanced magics and spells, her body starts resorting to using her flat breasts as extra storage. And then she keeps filling out as they grow larger and larger.

The bigger a mage's breasts, the more powerful she is and the greater her mana is. Also post more Sorceress.
