Did you pre-ordered your copy of Cuphead, user?

No, I'll be downloading the DRM-free GOG version for the low price of $0, and hour after it launches.

I'm glad you have FEAR In your library

why would i pre-order something with unlimited supply?

what subhuman language is that?

After actually seeing gameplay I no longer want it. I was hoping they'd have awesome encounters based on that wacky cartoon style. A bit like Contra meets Yoshi's Island just as retro cartoon. But it's the opposite - it's a game without any innovative or gripping gameplay sold via visuals alone. Not my cup of tea.

>GIOCO ACQUISTATO
I will guess espanol

Italian, one of the best languages in the world.

no, it looks too difficult

>not my CUP of tea
HAHAHA I GET IT HILARIOUS

I ask in every thread and I never get solid answers for this: who is the game for?

All gameplay shown is mediocre platforming and mediocre-to-interesting Boss battles. The graphics do look great, but why so much effort spent on making it a game when it could just as easily been a cartoon? I can pretty much guarantee it will only be about 6hrs long too with low-to-medium replayability and then it will be forgotten about in a half year.

I just don't get who is excited for this? Is it seriously just the art style? It can't be. It looks good, but if there's no GAME to this game, what's the point?

>One of the most useless languages in the world
ftfy

no. i'm not paying more than 5 usd for that kind of game

It's becuase the art style and theme is unique. the gameplay at its core is very generic

But that's what I mean. Why support it for art alone? I love art style in games. But if that is literally the only thing it has going for it, there should be no buying of the game, no praising the game, etc.

Sorry the devs spent trillions of their dollars/lives/etc on the game for it only to turn out as mediocre. I am genuinely baffled that people are going to buy this. If the gameplay was good, along with the artstyle, and hopefully a funny story with good music, sure buy it. But everything besides the graphics look perfectly 5/10, the worst thing you can do. It's not bad, and it's not great. It's nothing.

Geez mam, what a surprise!

Quite the opposite. Living in Europe means you also travel a lot to other nearby countries and French girls seemed more interesting than Italian ones. The choice of language was a decision soley driven by my late puberty's hormonal levels. Not that it didn't even work out - I took a few trips to Paris and Lyon after finishing highschool and speaking French did greatly help to hook up with girls but it's just that I realized I dislike the French and their world view a lot and hence dislike conversing with them. Not feeling the same towards Italians, though that might mostly come down to not having had much contact due to the language barrier - I hate travelling when I can't speak the local languages well enough to not seem like an idiot.
