What was your reaction to the Conquest Ending?
What was your reaction to the Conquest Ending?
This was easily the least enjoyable mainline Nep game, I didn't do a second playthrough of that shit.
Less enjoyable than V?
Nothing wrong.
Is it true that some of the VAs cried while recording the Conquest Ending because it was so soul-crushing?
V is easily the worst.
Never heard of that before. Source?
...
Best girl remains.
I want to redpill Nep
Nepgear killed her friends and her wife Uni. Nepgear is a murderer!
>Not a single CG of anyone's demise.
Shit.
...
Why would you force Tsunako to do that?
Who the fuck is that?
Ing from Super Robot Wars.
I need to find a good yelling in agony face
granted this one where he looks dead could of worked.
>Super Robot Wars
Oh I've heard of that before. I should get into it myself sometime.
Mk2 was my first Nep game and honestly I didn't expect an ending so dark.
>Mk2 was my first Nep game
Why would you do that?
I thought it was a cool, daring move on their part. A deviation from all the happy moe shit was refreshing, though I know edgy shit isn't foreign to jap games.
I really wasn't expecting nepgear killing linda. When she said she should have done that much earlier I laughed my ass off.
>nepgear killing linda
That was legit one of the best moments in the entire game.
...
I just hated how her reaction was basically
>wtf? it was just a prank, bro
Maybe if the children weren't so fucking dumb they wouldn't have died
...
I think I need to rewatch her death because I don't remember that
Her words were something like "What the hell? Why did you stab me?"
Delete this thread right now
I really loved the fact that the big bad of the game basically said "You've done far worse than anything I could possibly do." to Nep Jr.
Fuck you Linda was the only reason i played that shit game
Not only that, but Nepgear said "I should have done that ages ago." afterwards.
That was her best line
After some years of "peace" things start to get bad... and then Nepgear alone to her own devices realizes that there are other dimensions out there with other goddesses, and other incarnations of Arfoire. She needs to go to these other dimensions and stop the corruption... prevent Arfoire from ever returning, no matter the cost.
No one expected Nepgear to come with a robot army, invading the other lands. No one was prepared.
Tsunako is a hack.
I would unironically pay for a game that went with this idea
It would be a great premise, but I don't know how you would be able to stretch it into a 20+ hour RPG.
Incredibly surprised considering the very light-hearted tone of this series.
Would have had a bigger impact if it wasn't executed this poorly though, it was all shock value
Maybe they would add some sort of war tactics into the gameplay? Nepgear's robot army basically storms Gamindustri and takes over half of it due to a surprise attack and the game could be about taking down her army for a good chunk of it.
I would love that.
Simple. Murdergear found out about Uzume/Kurome and Rei, then she vows to outright exterminate them, leading to Nep rallying all the other Neps to save those other dimensions from this sad, lonely and broken CPU that is Murdergear.
I got an idea.
Mk2 Gear realizes that there is one power who can reverse the past, being none other than Segami, and she goes after Sega Hatsumi and the SeHa so that Arfoire could be outright eradicated from history and she can simply reset everything.
That'll make for a SeHa vs Nepgear.
>shock value
>on a game that had suspense building up from the very begining
apocalypse chapter took everyone on surprise, but we had it kind of coming due of the hints
Not this badly
I thought that it wouldn't be Nepgear, but maybe Kei.
I love Segami so I approve of this idea.
How about a real time strategy like Ogre Battle where Nepgear's robot army has already conquered the bulk of Gamindustri, and you must lead your own army of goddesses, makers, and scouts in a war where you start in Virtua Forest where this dimension's Neptune and Nepgear had been camping out when murderGear came down and obliterated everything. From there, you travel through the world, liberating Planeptune and the other nations before climbing to murderGear's dark throne atop the Gamindustri Graveyard.
...
I want to marry Nepgear and hold hands, I love her.
Not this guy but I also started with mk2 because it was the latest entry at the time and the first game was considered utter shit.
We know, Uni.
I wonder what this ending felt like for all the voice actors. Could you imagine just coming in to work one day and then they're like:
>Okay so do your best dying voice. We're gonna get recording done for the part where Nepgear kills everyone.
cute
...
Dont bully Rei
...
Trillion: Nep Edition?
I know your edgy and shit, but shove that edge in yourself please thanks
>do your best slutty voice, we're recording THAT scene/drama cds today
they're used to it
All Neps are perfect in their own way and deserve love, not bullying
Nepgear gets older and misses her friends and sister, and decides to use her devastating power to invade other dimensions in order to find a replacement for her dimensions' dead Neptune. Eventually she sends Nepgeardams to other dimensions, killing everyone but their Neptune, causing them to be helpless and without their HDD powers (No one left alive = no shares = no goddess powers), and then adding them to her Harem of Neptunes. She finally reaches the Hyperdimension (Conquest End retcons to the Conquest-Dimension)
The big reveal is the CPUs meeting the Corrupt Older Conquest Nepgear(whom our Nep calls Bad-Gear) sitting on a throne made of old and destroyed consoles, surrounded by a bunch of helpless Neptune from alternate dimensions.
Ive only got a pc, how do i start with the nep series? the names make no sense to me.
I can't wait to see Big Nep somehow foiling Murdergear's plans.
Skip RB1, the play RB2, and 3. Then finish it off with V-II.
Play any of the other game if you want, they're all non-canon.
Wouldn't it end well if Big Nep becomes Murdergear's big sis and they go on adventures across various dimensions with Croire?
Thanks user
>Skip RB1
What the fuck? No. Play it.
Yeah, he gonna miss all the best banter
"Hoooly fucking shit my dude"
Im downloading all 3 so il give it a shot i guess. I thought the rebirths were remakes or the ps3 games and the 2nd ps3 game was a remake of the first
Play the rebirth games 1-3 and then V-II.
The 2nd game is a restart with mostly new characters, but it still expects you to have played the first.
That list needs to be updated. The PS4 version of 4GO comes out in October, with the PC version coming out sometime in 2018. And we will probably never get NepuNepu Chaos.
Why would Big Nep side with Murdergear?
I'm guessing it's due to how they both don't have sisters.
>V-II
>won't get localised before 2018
How old is this guide?
way too old, before Steam.
Is that really enough? I think after the events of VII Big Nep would try to stop Murdergear from killing her friends
...
>What was your reaction to the Conquest Ending?
I think I'm out of ConquestGear images.
I like how V-II was labelled as best game
...
wtf is homura going to do that madoka
Ifi is an useless chuuni
>valkyria chronicles
>Nep game with Valkyria Chronicles gameplay
Holy shit fund it
...
Are there any more images like these?
I think the Sega crossover game was when I really started to hate the asset reuse. what a disappointing game.
Sega was the best spin-off though. It was annoying because it was too long. Wouldn't mind a shorter game but without 4-5 of each dungeon.
That the Nohr siblings deserved better
They had to kill their pappy and a spooky jap :(
Conquest ending was easily the best and one of the few memorable parts of an otherwise forgettable game. Urobutchi would be proud.
I wish I had made a save before it.
At least they had an explanation for using 4 slightly altered versions of the same dungeon, but it would've helped a lot if all of them were new.
I hate the asset reuse, but I think the Sega crossover is the best one, and the banter between Iffy-Nep-Segami is what sells that game.
Noire is terrible at holding banter with Nep,
Blanc doesn't want to bother,
Nobody wants to talk to Vert,
Nepgear adores Nep too much,
Histoire just lectures instead of returning sick burns to Nep,
Plutia is somebody that Nep wouldn't even try,
Compa is too big of an bubbly softie,
Uzume is this hot-blooded person who doesn't like to jab verbally.
That leaves Iffy, who hasn't been giving Nep sick burns since the original game because of Noire by and large, and I am really happy that there's Segami as well, since Nep finally gets to be all Nep can be as the three of them mercilessly lampoon each other and hoping to one-up the other in their bantering.
Conquest was my favorite ending so far. Wish they had done something similar with VII's bad ending... but... oh well.
Kemono neps
I have never gotten past chapter 2 of a nep game despite buying the first 3 on steam.
>Kaban Nep
I've always known that Neptune is double CPU.
This so much. The top tier banter between the trio was some of the best in the series and it sucks it doesn't get much recognition because "they're being mean to each other" when this is much different from the V situation
