>Game starts with a qoute about war or good and evil.
Game starts with a qoute about war or good and evil
>The quotes aren't even relevant to the plot or gameplay
Name 7 games that did this
>Dreams are like reality
>reality is like a dream
>something something this game sounds deep now
>If you are a teenager or a weeb
>Shadows can only exist where there is light
this happens too often.
>game starts with a quote from Isaac Asimov
That's factually correct though
>war... war never changes
>The quotes are in-game dialogue or in a cutscene and it doesn't make sense for the character to speak like that
Courage is the magic that turns dreams into reality.
delet this
>Cowboys, legionaries and robots fighting
>War never changes
>game uses quotes
At least it didn't before I fucked everythang up
>War has changed
kek
>War makes men mad
>Game starts
Truly if there is evil in this world,
it lies within the heart of mankind.
INDIGNATION
It's incorrect. Shadow is a lack of light. If there is no light everything's a shadow
Cracked me up for some reason
>game starts with a Nietzsche quote
Or better yet
>bad guy paraphrases him multiple times
False, only objects can cast shadows and you need light for that. Darkness isnt cast it just is when there is no light.
Shadow is the lack of light in contrast to the light near it. If you're in a dark basement with zero light you wouldn't say it's shadowy you 'd say it's dark
>War... Huh... Good god... What is it good for?
Yes I would.
>what is it good for
Videogames. Imagine if war or strife/fighting never existed.
Videogames would be pretty boring.
>game ends
>Days turned into months, months turned into years...
>I have an apple
>False, you have no apples, because there are apples near it
>food analogy
>thread starts with a frogposter
Shadows are cast from light you fucking retard. Darkness is the absence of light. therefore you need light to have shadows.
>if you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares back at you
>OP starts the thread with a post he thinks is original or even remotely good
No, shadows are areas not reached by light, it is not created by light!
If I put up a wall, then you say it casts a shadow, but if I put a roof on top, then that's no longer a shadow but darkness. Isn't that darkness then shadow created by the roof and the walls?
If I take a concave object and roll it in paint, the concave hole will not have any paint inside. Did the paint create that clean area?
Shadow is a semantic term. Like putting water in a glass somehow changes water's definition
>game starts with a quote from a fictional person in the game world
>Game farts.
>thread starts with frogshit
because you're stupid and got BTFO
>Good is a dream, man is a tree, war has a soul
>And the soul is fire
Wrong
A shadow is always cast, it is exclusively dependent on contrast.
Absence of light is darkness.
The apple analogy would only work if an apple was a state of contrast against a non-apple state, not a fucking physical object independent of anything else other than it's own integrity as that object.
>being this retarded
I hope you are just pretending.
How does it feel to be mentally retarded my friend?
Good luck seeing the shadows in darkness
...
You know I'm right
Even if they are the same thing objectively they have a different context. There's a whole chapter of analytical linguistically philosophy about this thing.
I know you're a retard.
What the fuck do they teach you in school these days?
Yes, a shadow is created because an object blocks the light. Scientifically shadows are darkness.
But in english darkness and shadows are different things. There can't be a shadow of an object if there's no light, with no light there's only darkness.
...
This is the only acceptable one.
The two thiefs are good examples.
>delightful
>ever-novel
>pleasure
>useless occupation
Fits playing Dragon's Dogma to a tee.
>QUOTE
>five second delay
>name slowly fades in
>~ KARL MARX
woah.... i did not expect Marx to be the originator of this quote...
>anything starts with any quote
Just stop this already. he quote is always like toodeep4u amd mysterious and it tells me the people who made it were too lazy to get the proper message across in the actual media
>quote is not by a real person, but by a character from the video game
>it's in a fictional language
>runes fade into english
>game ends with a qoute
>Thread on Sup Forums starts with a frogposter
