Remember that original delay that prevented FFXV from being released last September? They said they wanted to put all of the patches and content on disc. That obviously never happened. It's a 19GB download just to play the Assassin's Festival...which I'm never going to update or remove.

For some reason, the download is only like 2gb but it says it's 20.
They're apparently going to be adding in a few new cutscenes at the end of the month, and will also finally allow you to take more than one hunt at a time.

Fucking called it about Ravus being the party member in Episode Ignis. I mean, there's no other available guy around there since Gentiana, Iris and Cor are unavailable during the events in Altissia so it's either him or Cid and I doubt Cid can still fight.

I played half of the game on a reguar ps4, it's ok, a few drops here and there but nothing game breaking, 95% of the time you won't notice it.

The game's combat is basically overdeveloped QTEs. There are drops but they don't impact gameplay and definitely not the cinematics.

If anything you want your PS4 to have an SSD because the load times are long and you spend half of the game fast travelling.

Honestly, everything helps. There weren't a whole lot of cutscenes needed to make the story not feel like an unfinished mess.

If they ever release a complete edition that inserts the DLC chapters into the main story along with these extra cutscenes, the game will probably feel like a complete experience.

well if they werent part of the free market economy where infinite wealth seems feasible. and theres no regulations then yeah we could just have good games being made by ppl who love games. The story stuff is free though, and the only shit they charge for(The episodes based on your party members, the multiplayer) wouldn't make sense to be in the game in its current form. SE has been shitty when it comes to FFXV, but not in respect to the DLC, if we exclude the retarded pre-order bonus shit.

It looked better compared to the videos on YouTube. Runs smooth but there are slowdown when there are hordes of monsters and too many effects (weather, particle effects) are running simultaneously but not so frequent. The frame pacing issue on the ps4 has been ironed out (based on my experience). Probably because I'm running digital. But my god the combat and camera is frustrating
