That its no longer available on PC since its xbox's console seller.
T'was all grand up until 4
Fucking 343 ruining everything great about Halo.
The gameplay and music in 4 was alright but everything else wasjust complete garbage.
5 had nothing good going for it.
>Was all grand up until every mission after 3 or Halo 4
Fixed for you.
>the real halo killer was halo along
Is Halo 2 MP still alive on PC?
Should've ended with Reach.
Bungie leaving, then 343 coming in..
The worst part is Bungie didn't even make a good game after leaving Microsoft.
If Destiny was good I wouldn't feel so bad about Halo dying.

I find it a bit sad that Halo has now the same "stigma" as COD does, when Bungie actually cared for it and put tons of effort into it.
Bungie is no more, Reach was their last game. Now Bungie is just a husk of its former self.
I don't even know anyone who plays Halo anymore, besides hardcore fanboys of the series. It's not even a popular series anymore.
That's what Bungie gets for teaming up with Craptavision. I remember before Destiny came out they said "we will support Destiny for 10 years, you will have 10 years of content."
Yes, search for "Project Cartographer" online
>What went wrong?
This, literally this, Call of Duty 4 beat the shit out of Halo 3 on the goddamn xbox 360. Every week CoD4 beat Halo 3 as the most played game durig all of 2008, only beating it on weeks when new maps were released.
It was at that point when microsoft saw that investing so much money on their own games was dumb, when people were already buying plenty of 360s to play Call of Duty, not to mention that the pattern never changed until 2012 when Call of Duty was finally dethroned from the most played game in a week by minecraft
That was the reason why microsoft decided to pay 50 million dollars to activision just to get maps a month earlier
>That's what Bungie gets for teaming up with Craptavision
What could they do? Activisionw was the only publisher that allowed them to keep the rights to their IP, every other publisher wanted to keep their IP if they were gonna invest on bungie
Yeah, and they mean it.
The "Destiny" deal is 10 years of games and dlcs.
So I'd say 3 games at best.
Find a publisher that wasn't EA, Activision, or Ubisoft. There's more than them.
Yeah it's a total scam. The Destiny games to me feel like if Halo was split into mission, removed the story, and was online only.
Nice thanks.
>tfw I got halo 4 on release day
I was so fucking stupid for trusting microsot
Microsoft is missing out on a lot of money by not making Halo 3 for PC. A lot of PC gamers would buy it in a heartbeat since a lot of us were consolefags back in the day when Halo 3 was at it's prime
