I bought a shitload of games on my Wii because I didn't have a PC at the time (totally moot because I ended up modding the fucking shit out of my Wii anyway), so I transferred all my shit to my Wii U guilt free so that way I could throw that shit in the other room and leave my Wii U plugged in on my good TV.
Lo and fucking behold, if I wanna play all my Wii games on my shiny new Wii U I had to go into the Wii OS. That's not so bad. Then they came out ON the Wii U, and you had to pay a fucking premium fee of a buck or two in order to play them on the Wii U side. Fucking seriously? Then they link the Wii U and 3DS accounts, release virtual console on the 3DS... And you have to buy your games again. Full price, no discount. Are you god damn kidding me? What kind of fucking horse shit is that? And I'm fucking guilty as hell too, because I bought Link to the Past and Mario 3 on every system, so I can't even say I'm not above this shit.
All I want, all I fucking pray for, is a system like Sony's where you buy your game one fucking time and you can use it on everything going forwards. I've played Xenogears using the same save file across my PS3, my PSP, and then my Vita and Vita TV and it was fucking great. Somehow daring to mention this, just because I said "Sony", I'm going to have a bunch of screaming Nintendo autists up my ass despite me owning every Nintendo console and like fucking fifty amiibo. I at least have the goddamn clarity to point out their bullshit business practices.

You'll see in 10 or 15 years how graphics really don't matter, and it's the games where it's at. Had more fun with Mario Kart, Zelda or Overcooked in portable than with any other console, Wii U included, that came before.
