So do Europoor PCfags actually buy games or is it just consolefag central over there?

Without Russia you guys wouldn't even have as many owners for most games as the US alone.

Euro'''poors'' pay the most, which is why we are poor. Russia pays pocket change.

inb4 purchasing power meme

Europe is full of normalfags.
Videogames are for children.

Canada pays the most actually, games regularly launch at $70+ CAD over there.

Obviously Europe doesn't want shitty turn based combat without balance and proper character building options on top of terrible writing.

We are waiting for our Pillars of Eternity sequel.

60 EUR is 88 CAD

>being suprised that a country that has a 5-10 times bigger population than the average european country has more people buying games

>Consumerist Amerisharts buy the most crap
I'm so surprised

I thought we were talking about DOS2

>We are waiting for our Pillars of Eternity sequel.
Obviously not.

That's apparently 47€. games here can go 60-70€

Do you ever sleep?

Put Europoor values together or divide USA states, you mongoloid, and see what happens.

Can you not group Russia into Europe? They contribute nothing to us. 'Murica is more Europe than Russia.

The fuck are you talking about?
37% is America, 20% are Russia and Canada, what do you think the majority of the remaining 43% are?

You understand that all of those European countries have a population that's at least 4x smaller than the US, right? Then consider the fact that some of those countries have language limitations and advertising limitations too.

I haven't seen a single ad for an AAA game in my country in my entire life.

The US has a population of ~320 million.
UK, Germany, Italy, France, and Spain combined have a similar population, and still make up nowhere near as high a percentage of owners as the US, even combined.

>more owners in US than players
>more players in Russia, Canada, and UK

Fags are too poor to buy their own games.

>China
>1.75% owners
>5.65% players

Again, language barriers and advertisement are limiting factors. Non-English speaking countries don't get ads for games that often or get catered to at all.

>what do you think the majority of the remaining 43% are?
~30% is the rest of Europe, if that, which is lower than the US alone.

Yep. There's whole countries with less people than in some random big city

It was expected, same with Russia

see

In the US you earn $60.000 - $100.000 per year and a game cost $60.

In western Europe you earn €25.000 - €40.000 per year and a game costs €60. In Eastern Europe the salaries are even lower.

>shit game
Shit ameritaste.

And those 5 countries need to be advertised to in 5 different languages and need releases in 5 different languages. They most likely didn't get advertised to, because the markets aren't considered that important.

I have never seen an AAA game ad in my country in my language. Not even on something like Youtube. If I see an ad for a game it's by looking it up on Youtube myself, not because Youtube shows it to me as an ad.

Whatever game you like probably has more US owners/players than most, if not all, of Europe combined.

>0.4% of Original Sin 2 owners are from the Holy See

And most of those countries don't have English, French, German or Russian as their native languages, which are the only languages the game has been localised to.

Most normies don't play games that aren't in their language, much less relatively obscure RPGs in normie-circles.

It doesn't change anything about the language barrier and advertisement. If I want to know when a new Battlefield or Call of Duty is coming out I need to pay attention to news sources and advertisements that are outside of my country.

Those are pretty crazy numbers at ~500k copies sold. It must a be a sleeper hit over at Vatican city.

>In the US you earn $60.000 - $100.000 per year
The average per capita income in the US for a single male is ~$40k actually.

I bet it's a bunch of degenerate priests who think the game is about sinning real hard and want to get off to it.
>"Oh yeah, sodomize that little boy! Mmmh. We sinners are beyond redemption. Aaaah!"

World of Tanks. More European players than American. Even more Russian players though.

>In the US you earn $60.000 - $100.000 per year and a game cost $60
If you are implying that $80 000 is the average, you are dead wrong.

Divinity OS 2 isn't heavily advertised, nor is it AAA, so this argument doesn't make any sense.
Chances are, Europoors are mainly consolefags, considering PS4 games sell gangbusters there, especially Fifa.
Compare Fifa sales in Europe to Madden/NBA sales in the US. Even combined, your yearly NBA+Madden games can't compete with your yearly Fifa game in terms of sales.

Now that you mention it. I don't think I've seen many ads either. Maybe rarely on tv, but haven't really watched tv in over 10 years so dunno if there's even those anymore

>F2P game
Can 't argue there, Europoors love their F2P games.
Especially Russians.

Nah, that actually corresponds to more people than actually live in the Vatican. Just edgelords who registered there on Steam.

>Chances are, Europoors are mainly consolefags, considering PS4 games sell gangbusters there, especially Fifa.
Then how come games like World of Warships that is a PC only game has more European players than American players?

>Divinity OS 2 isn't heavily advertised, nor is it AAA, so this argument doesn't make any sense.
Most European countries don't get ANY advertisement for any game.

>unrankedsmurfs.com/blog/how-many-lol-players-are-on-each-server
EU servers have a much larger playerbase than all other regions.

Because F2P games get the same amount of advertisement as buy to play games over here, however F2P games have a lower barrier to entry. I play multiple F2P games regularly, but I don't play any buy to play games. Not even one.

Pope said everyone has to buy several copies because it's got Divinity in the name and he loves videogames after being gifted UNDERTALE by MatPat

>Then how come games like World of Warships that is a PC only game has more European players than American players?
Because it's free and Europoors spend all their money on console games and thus are relegated to free games alongside their yearly Fifa and AAA console shooter.

>Because it's free and Europoors spend all their money on console games and thus are relegated to free games alongside their yearly Fifa and AAA console shooter.
Or they just don't have the money to spend on games because half of Europe sits at a much lower income level while games (and most things in life) are more expensive? Americans complain about rent being expensive while living in houses or apartments double the size of what Europeans live in.

>Or they just don't have the money to spend on games
Factually untrue, console games sell better in the EU than NA most of the time, especially AAA and sports games that aren't Madden.

Comparing income in the US with any civilised country is a bit misleading.
Yes we pay more taxes, but a lot of the money we keep is actual spending money, rather than having to pay shit like medical bills and other services out of pocket.

>Factually untrue, console games sell better in the EU than NA most of the time, especially AAA and sports games that aren't Madden.
Other than FIFA I don't really see it being massively out of proportion. Europe as a whole region has something like double the population of the US.

>Yes we pay more taxes, but a lot of the money we keep is actual spending money, rather than having to pay shit like medical bills and other services out of pocket.
I don't think this matters when average income in the US is more than double than the country we're talking about. Look at incomes in countries like Poland.

>Europe is full of normalfags
This, also you don't have to sit at home playing vidya in order to not being shot on the streets.

Poland isn't a first world country

Its a shame the recently removed the Geographical graph for certain games
Revolution 60 was pretty funny in that 100% of its player base was in America
Also no one has even played it since the 13th of August.

And half of Europe is about as poor or poorer than Poland.
