When I was eight. I grew the fuck up, though.
No, but I used an internet guide for a video game once.
On the first run, never
On replay, almost always
>There are people who think nameless meme was a hard boss
>there are people that need to play games with their hands and can't use their feet instead
No cause they're written by autists
>so this boss is easy just perfectly iframe all of his bullshit and one-shot him with your upgraded fire club which you SHOULD have grinded to max level by now
what about using them to find hidden areas you'd have never found otherwise?
I'm retarded and some of soul reaver 1's puzzles were too hard for me.
nope, and that's why i never did this zone but will do in a future playthrough
No, I watch video guides on you-tube sometimes though. Much faster.
fucking with those blocks while the skeeter peoples BUGGING you was shit
Use them all the time. I make exceptions for games where exploration is a huge part of it and puzzles. Everything else I don't give a shit about. For example I googled who to get MLGS in DS 3 before I even finished the tutorial and nothing else till I beat that run
>"No"
>proceeds to say he does check guides on the internet anyway
after I did everything I could on my own
Before I knew how DnD worked I read a few guides on creating characters for NwN. Come at me bro.
It happens sometimes, but I try to avoid it. Most recently was when I played Virtue's Last Reward and had to look one up for B. Garden and the final dice rolling puzzle.
i do, but just so i can understand some game mechanics
apparently people itt associate "guide" with the aid to defeat a boss or solve a puzzle
makes me feel better because i never did that
Yes.
>there are people who play video games and post on video game image boards
Lmaoing at both of you.
When I was a 13 years old lad I looked up everything on Gamefaqs
>There are people who unironically breathe air
I unironically loled out loud at this forum posting.
...
Yes, for Wind Waker
worth it
I don't blame myself , if i need to look it up on youtube I consider it bad game design , it's not me it's them.
only in the endgame content of grindy RPGs and only in the form of "best place to farm x" guides
You literally cannot play half of the roguelite shit coming out nowadays like Isaac/Darkest Dungeon/Gungeon without a guide because some stupid fucks thinks it's good game design to hide half of the game mechanics from the player.
All it does is force people who aren't autistic and don't have time to memorize some dev's cryptic bullshit to alt tab to a wiki. It needs to stop.
I use them for games with easily missable content. And for games with a lot of hidden passages like Final Fantasy.
God I fucking hate hidden passages. Really fun getting random encounters every 5 seconds while your running against the wall like an idiot.
>how to justify being a brainlet: the post
youtube.com
SONY VEGAS YOO
yes the latest phoenix wright games are fucking trash, i used a guide until i stopped playing them (didnt finish them either haha fuck u capcom)
B bide gem
Used a guide for Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei 1 because I couldn't remember which identical room in the 2nd or 3rd area had the stupid fucking bottomless jar with the jewel to stop Lucifer from healing himself all the time
It still didn't help much
All the time, I am pretty busy most of the time so I'd rather get through all the content than be stuck on a boss or level for 2 hours.
This game made me realize i might have double digit IQ.
So you have to watch a walkthrough to play DS3?
It's impossible that you can figure out how to access this area on your own.
>to play DS3
No, just reach one secret area.
That's a dumb question to ask. If you need help the smart way is to look it up! GENIUS!!! OMFG!!!!!
>be ten
>play wind waker
>get to the part where you're supposed to roll into the deku tree to knock the chuchus off his face and kill them
>forget that rolling into stuff is a thing
>look up a guide
>guide says (verbatim) "Knock the chuchus down and kill them."
I use guides pretty often. I'm a scrub.
