I have it on console to play couch co-op with my kids. I can play on my toaster laptop alone but that kinda defeats the purpose of having it on the console. I personally don't care but I care for my kids

The funny thing is is that it did crash the Xbox several times. But I'm just going to delete the game and play some other couch co-op with the kids. They like terraria, thought we've beat it several times. And I have a Wii with tons of games they love to play.

Look OK, I'm sympathetic that Minecraft is jewing you. I really am. However, you made a bad investment for a few several reasons. I'll list them.
1. You're playing Minecraft. It's a game for kids. An audience who asks parents for money, like five bucks at a time, and the parents give it to them because they'll shut up and sit in front of the TV for hours because it's worth it for them to not actually parent their kids. Also are you autistic? Build something that matters if organization and putting things together means that much to you. Get into carpentry.
2. You're playing Minecraft on console and insist on buying DLC. If you need texture DLC and it's THAT important to you, then play it on a PC. That's just the truth of the matter. If you can't handle vanilla releases then you shouldn't buy console games.
3. You're giving into to predatory business practices and not realizing the blame that you have to give yourself fairly. Understand that you need to be a responsible consumer. If you're like this with Minecraft of all things then you're like this on other things in the market. Stop being an idiot consumer. THINK before you SPEND.

Yes I do other activities with them. Not just gaming but I am a gamer and so are they so we do game sometimes and I have to find a couch co op game that 3 kids can play that are a variety of ages and still all play together and have fun and that's not an easy task.
And no calling up a customer service hotline to wait to talk to some guy from India doesn't seem like it is the defining adult trait.
However after looking at the reviews I found a developers response that days that they are fixing the issue to put the content you paid for back into the game
So you can all can go back to buying your loot boxes in your games and forget about little old stupid adult guy who bought some texture packs, or your waifu simulators or what ever

You're actually illiterate and can't research worth a damn. They've already said this version of Minecraft will carry over everything you've purchased, and even though it's shitty that they haven't got that in place yet, I highly doubt they'll actually never give it back.
