The thing you should be more concerned about is performance. Doom is not a slow game. It almost sold itself on being fast and twitchy. 30 FPS for it is not good. Worse if there are drops.

You also can't play it in 60fps

It's like trying to argue the GBA version of Doom is definitive. I look at it and think, "neat!," but not much else.
