HOLY SHIT

HOLY SHIT

RPG of the Decade?

It's literally better than the Witcher 3

>IGN

Great game.

It bothers me however how every dialogue you speak isnt direclty spoken but rather the characters own thoughts

Fucking annoying. Really kills the flow when reading because npc talk directly to you and then you have to ask yourself what the fuck youre about to talk about,

Someone say something that would sell me on this game. Anything you can think of that might be a selling point. I'm on the fence about getting it.

What type of poem structure is this?

It's a much better version of DOS1, and that already was hella fun to play, so there's nowhere to go but up

>It's a much better version of DOS1
shit, i had DOS 6.0 back in the 90s

The Witcher 3 is hot garbage gameplaywise and shouldn't have scored that high to begin with.

Microsoft casualized DOS with later installments, this is back-to-the-roots OS

its a lune

The info page on steam says that during coop only one of you can become a god. Does this actually happen, are there any interesting gameplay choices that revolve around this?

Very deserved. Witcher 3 is more of an open-meme action game than an RPG so i don't see why the comparsion is necessary though

*post a (You)*

its not a poem

Let me guess, you never played a tabletop session

>IGN

Thanks for the laugh user

i think i like it better than normal writing desu

i feel like a lot of the time in RPGs with normal dialogue there's specific wording that i dont think is appropriate to the situation or the character im playing as

>tfw cant enjoy top down games and idk why

>game is good/bad
>because a reviewer said

*blocks your RPGotY*

I feel like most people haven't.

It bothers me too desu. I think I'd rather have no dialogue choices.

>tfw installing now
I'll buy it if it is good, like every title.

That doesn't count

>comparing a turn based top down to a third person hack and slash
I like both of these games but holy shit you stupid fuck

you stupid stupid fuck.

Stop comparing apples and oranges you stupid fuck.

what did you order

Pineapple pizza

kek

It's really not. This is coming from a guy who loved the first one. Quests don't complete half the time, characters randomly don't get experience for kills, 1 turn debuffs lasting multiple turns..fucking decay.

And multiple dialogue options ending up with the exact same fucking result. Why give me 4 different choices, ACTIONS to be specific, and have them all end up with the same response?

Wait for the enhanced edition, I don't know what Larian was doing that entire time during early access but it wasn't playing their own game,

...

everything is better than TW3

How did you feel when you noticed they opened your package?

>It's literally better than the Witcher 3
low bar

Yet both are RPGs

so.. the game is great but ur shitty pc or day 1 patch u forgot to download is causing u bugs.. yet u still can't stop playing.. got it

Witcher 3 is effectively an ARPG and DOS2 is a turnbased RPG

That refers to combat, not their RPG mechanics

>witcher 3
>deep roleplaying

when reviewing you review the whole fucking thing not just one part of it.

>Spells scale with level, skill, and stats
>Spells can be found on scrolls and scrolls can be crafted
>Scrolls have no level, skill, or stats so they're only barely useful at the very beginning of the game and are complete worthless garbage even in the early mid-game
What did Larian Entertainment Studios Division mean by this?

I don't see why people like to pretend the game isn't filled to the brim with flaws and confused design. Have they not finished the game? Has the hype not worn off yet? But then again, I guess Skyrim got rave reviews.

Hard to forget patches when it automatically updates on steam.

Also I'm a masochist and accepting defeat is even worse than the shit game, I get by.

I know that feel, played BG the characters were just bland dots with pictures so I couldn't care.

I'm actually hating this isometric RPG comeback and hope it dies out.

The quests are a tangled up fucking mess in Act 4.

...

Having a consistent world with logically-available items?

Worse than act 2? I'm really not enjoiying act 2, doesn't flow well at all and there has been barely any enemy activity to get exp from.

Except for those frogs that do nothing but stun you endlessly and aggro city guards.

The possessed enemies in particular have been griefing me with no experience for killing them.

At the same time is a cheap cop out and the devs dont have to write interesting dialogue for your char

There's almost no combat in Act 4. And when there is, it's with enemies that can only be killed with gimmicks. Act 4 is all about pixel hunting for hidden shit.

>I don't like this genre, in fact I hate its comeback and hope it dies out
You sound rotten.

Cancer, back to Neogaf with your shit e-celebrities.

Isometric shit
