Becoming a Twitcher

What's it like to stream on Twitch, user?
Is it good for some side income?

Your twitch career will go the same way as this thread.

I'm a millionaire from twitch alone.

Do you have tits?

Haha. Yeah. Wouldn't surprise me.
I plan on doing it anyway for fun on my days off. It's all good.

Average twitch streamer probably gets about 10-20 viewers, so no.

Ok thanks, I'll make sure not to watch.

>streaming some mordhau early access
>quick download time and not that many people streaming it yet, got in early
>had 17 viewers at one point
>a few people constantly chatting to me and commenting on the gameplay that was happening
>had a little follower alert that popped up on screen and got a few
>felt like the big time
>tfw it'll never happen again

I don't plan on being a millionaire. Lol.
If I can make an extra 100 bucks a month or more than that'll be nice.
Haha. No.

if you're the most bland person to scrape the surface of the earth, then yes, twitch would be a nice side income. Don't forget to suck moderator dick so they promote you

You really like roleplay don't you?

Unless you have a time machine to return to 2010, you've missed to boat for proper income earning on Twtich barring two factors:
1) Endorsement for a huge Twitch "celebrity"
2) Your a femanon who has zero problems showing clevage and more for subscribers

If you are just doing it for fun and actually are engaging, you might nab a free game of a handful of $1 dollar tips but that's it.

Trust me, you'll be rolling in more cash than the entirety of Africa's GDP.

How did Dr Disrepect get so popular?

Oh
That's cool, and that sucks..

Cool.
Lmao
I dunno.

He built a persona that has alot of charisma.

A buddy of mine told me he used to work for Activision on map design so that knowledge may carry over to the Battle Royale style games that he currently streams to earn money.

Mostly the charisma though, takes alot of effort to act in the character he does and it has huge payoff.

>TFW was an orginal streamer.
>Started getting a decent base and could have went full time.
>Got scared of becoming an asshole or getting boxed into a certain format unable to change like some ecelebes.
>Delete channel

Did I make a mistake.

Sounds like bullshit desu

>tfw you have a twitch for a specific purpose that you know isn't popular but you're personally invested in
>get more viewers than you ever got before doing some one off shit that's slightly related to what you're doing
The temptation to jump is great, but I'm fine with how things are now

My voice is completely shit
Even when i speak normally most of the people don't understand

If you start streaming then don't be like an irl friend of mine :
>constantly spewing salt in every thread
>blames his mistakes on the game in a whiny voice that makes me want to punch him
>constantly cries on how he wants to be more popular and how his regulars aren't good enough for him
>wallows in self pity
>whenever a new guy pops up he begs them to follow, sub and donate
>has a successful friend that is the polar opposite of him personality wise
>acts like a bitter cunt toward said friend yet shamelessly self advertises in his stream

I don't have a twitch account but I tuned into his stream a couple of times in secret and I know his channel is gonna crash and burn because he's such a cunt towards his viewers. Decent person in real life but an absolute thundercunt as a streamer. Don't be like him.

He's unique and he's genuinely pretty funny. 99% of streamers are completely interchangeable, they all use the same layout, have the same "hey thanks for the sub welcome to the shitmunchers" phony personality and are amazed when they don't get anywhere with it.

>"hey thanks for the sub welcome to the shitmunchers"
Had me laffing out loud. And yeah that's exactly how it is.

Maybe, but say it is true, did hypothetical me make a mistake?

hypothetical you needs to provide proof
