I don't know about instantly but as soon as he starts walking away he always walks to the mojave outpost and enters the main building but dissapears.

I was genuinely surprised by how lacking all the characters in fallout 3 were. HH was the lowest budget DLC in NV and Joshua Graham still blows the shit out of every character in every fallout 3 dlc.

Malcolm Homes has nothing to do wit the NCR besides the fact that he despawns at the Mojave Outpost.

I liked the ghoul in that one Fallout 3 DLC, what an asshole.

What's the most fun build and why is it grunt?

The only bad thing about Grunt is that it doesn't work with the BAR from Dead Money.

It does with jsawyer's mod. It's really dumb that it doesn't work correctly in the base game though.

Also the fact that Jsawyer's mod takes the hugest fucking shit on Grunt. Fucking hell, I had to uninstall the mod because I couldn't take that horse crap.

I hate how the structure of the game files causes a lot of things that should be buffed by perks to not be affected.

Also I like explosives. Even though I'll never have the bullshit crippling accuracy that random raiders will have with grenade rifles. And the falloff is crazy bad.

He was all style and no substance. It's a probably with Fo3 as a whole. He has a centuries old feud with some floating brain dude just because. He stayed on that tiny island for 200 years and never once checked the light house 50m from his house because why? No why. The whole thing stank.

What do you mean by this? iirc all it did was reduce the bonus from 25% to 20%, but it subtly buffed a lot of the weapons by having Grunt apply to their GRA equivalents (which get better mods) and added a few missing weapons.

Jsawyer also reduces the damage bonus to 20% and removes all american from the list. it also nerfs the assault carbine so that it no longer does slightly hinger damage per shot than the Avenger minigun.

He took All American off the list. A gun that's not even that good. Meanwhile, medicine stick stays on the cowboy list and contines to do tesla cannon tier damage per shot. Fuck you sawyer. I'm a soldier. Let me be a soldier.

It's due to how the game tints the texture.

I spent so much time finding/making simple mods to fix all the broken perks and oddities like Ranger Andy's broken dialogue tree and Elijah's Last Words affecting Melee instead of Unarmed.

Fallout 3 had tons of memorable characters.

it's kind of annoying how shit automatic weapons are in this game

>high damage threshold enemies negating a lot of the damage
>high spread requiring you to get really close or waste a lot of ammo
>requiring large quantities of ammo when ammo has weight, costs money and degrades your weapon every time its used

it's just so much more efficient to kill an enemy in 1 or 2 shots with a powerful rifle

Honest Hearts also SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKED, and Joshua Graham being a cool guy doesn't change that.

It can be really pleasant to look at sometimes

Yeah it's really missing something compared to the other DLCs, even after multiple playthroughs I don't really know or care about the tribal stuff going on. The side story with the survivalist was infinitely more interesting than the main story.

Also it's really scary with mods at night

To be fair, it was a pretty crap way to introduce the guy in the middle of you being ambushed and trigger happy at the moment. I actually killed him by accident on my first run through Honest Hearts.

fwiw, I played the shit out of FO3 and I don't remember any of those characters. Even saying the name doesn't conjure up an image of them.

Sure it's pretty, but it was really small and it lacked good sidequests

The scenery was a welcome change of pace from constant wasteland though. Green plants, clean water, felt real fresh.

I could arguably say that Joshua Graham is one of, if not, the BEST fucking character in NV period.

And that being said, it's completely unfair to compare him to anyone else, especially in 3.

Although, Charon was pretty fucking great for 3

There are better weapons but you can last through the entire game with the hunting rifle easy. Hunting rifle + hunting shotgun is my favourite combo.

Fucking Christ Joshua's a god damn tank.

Gattling Laser is the best weapon.
