Why do we hate it again?

Why do we hate it again?

Because its better then [insert shit fps here] and thats my favorite game.

It's derivative, unimaginative, lacks substance, has a meta so basic that it's already solved, lacks any of the qualities or traits of games in the past that have had a long-term impact on older generations and newer generations, and due to oversaturation of popularity the moment it dies the newest genre in vidya (battle royale) will die without ever coming close to other genres in terms of reaching their potential. It's killing a new genre before its even born

>we

Because a vocal minority on Sup Forums is annoying.

PUBG is basicvally DayZ but fixed.

Also that. Sup Forums is not a hivemind. Usually anyway.

Because it's popular.

it is the gotyay

>promised not to add in MTs before it was out of EA, add in MT's before its out of EA
>promise not to add in camo clothes because it gives an unfair advantage to some players, add in camo clothes anyway (P2W)
>specifically add in honking then ban people for honking
>ban for "stream sniping" despite the fact that streamers can paste their face over the radar, add a delay, and there's no real way of telling if youre in the same server as a streamer anyway
>low graphic options give an advantage due to less foliage, less shadows and less light contrast = higher overall visibility compared to someone running on high settings

Simple is sometimes good user. Look at Arma. Great game but to complex for most people. Pubg is "Hey take this guy and go kill a hundred other players". Its quick thrilling and dirty.

Because it's popular and half of Sup Forums thinks being a contrarian is still cool

Because there is girls playing it

streamer bait trash

PUBG won't be remembered as the biggest game this year, or the biggest game this gen, or the biggest game since 2000.

It will be the biggest game in history and there is NOTHING you can do about it.

because it's a broken piece of shit

lol retard

t. fotm memer

You didn't address a single point in my post.

Simple games are a dime a dozen, that alone doesn't give a game value.

early access = unfinished game. I don't support unfinished products. I don't do early access, Kikestarter or whatever the GIB ME DATS crowd uses to get their GRAPE DRANK money these fucking days

OK so I honestly know next to nothing about this so I'm taking a quick look on twitch.
For the last 5 minutes I've been watching some russian faggot hiding in some cabin doing nothing.
Is this the typical PUBG experience ?

>You didn't address a single point in my post.
You didn't make any points. Just some buzzwords and a vague critique implying the game is too simple.

Wrong.

Every single point I made could be proven wrong if I were to pick a different game to critique.

For Mario 64, one could not say it's derivative of anything in the slightest because there's very little record of any game thats like it earlier. For Psychonauts, you could argue it's imaginative for developing a character through level design because the levels take place in their head. For Majora's Mask, you could bring up analysis and essays on the value it has on both videogame narratives as a whole and the narrative itself. For Melee, the meta is so complex that the game has constantly evolved for over a decade. For Super Metroid, you could contribute its longevity and long-term impact on players through it's unique atmosphere, unique game engine, unique physics, unique soundtrack, unique world design, and unique art direction. Finally, look at Rhythm Games. They were super popular, but due to Guitar Hero and Activision in general, theyve disappeared off the face of the map. Of course, they did reach their potential with IIDX, but that was made before Guitar Hero was a thing. Nothing was made before PUBG. The genre will never get to see any true worthwhile game.

Because you don't stop spamming threads asking why Sup Forums hates it?

Because people don't stop shitposting about it.

Because the PUBG fanbase is full of Tumblr-tier oversensitive kids who have meltdowns the moment you claim you don't like it?
It's just way too fun, not to mention the amount of reddit apologists among the PUBG fanbase.
