Game has a mechanic

>Game has a mechanic
>Too retarded to understand it

>game has a mechanic
>ask him to fix my bike

>Game has a mechanic that is 100% optional
>People complain about it "breaking" the game

>Parrying in Third Strike is 100% optional
>Breaks the game at a competitive level.

>Finish Demons Souls 4 times
>still don't understand how world tendency works

>game has mechanic
>gets removed when localized

guard impact in soul calibur, I only played 3.

>game is a fighting game
>too retarded to get out of bronze

Most game mechanics aren't that difficult to understand. They're usually just poorly explained

This.

Wow you changed car to bike. Very original. Maybe next time also use another wojack? Great meme my guy!

Sometimes they can also just hide crucial information from the player, such as the tempering system in Legend of Mana.

epic, i will post this on /r/Sup Forums and get all the upvotes

>Game is too hard
>Claim said game shit and whoever plays it shitter with shit taste

Can't believe how ducking long it took me to just sit down and work through this shit

It's a really cool mechanic.
I like the manga a lot because of how much more time Sora and his boys spend talking in space.

At least he's trying. What have you done with your life?

At least he's trying. What have you done with your bike?

>he doesn't understand the basic game design logic that people will almost always go for the path of least resistance, even if its detrimental to their enjoyment
I dont have a brainless wojak so just imagine one

>MMO implements mildly complex boss mechanics in even the lowest-level dungeons

>game has a mechanic
>too lazy to learn it

>game is so easy that you don't have to learn it in the first place
40 hours into Nioh and I haven't smithed a single item

This senpai

>MP game has no auction house
>too lazy and socially inept to learn and socialize with other spergs trading for games as if it were from 20 years ago

>finish the whole game without ever understanding mechanic
Must not have been that important

its just a parry

I finished Bloodborne without ever understanding how parrying works

I understood how it worked, but I sucked at and couldn't seem to get the hang of it so I just never used it

>game has harder difficulty
>said difficulty is "go stealth or die"

CQC in MGS3

Every fighting game

c'mon man yoshi is not that much retarded

>buy fighting game
>start tutorial
>realize i'm way in over my head
>try arcade mode
>struggle to the end and get ass fucked by the last fight
>do this for several days without progress
>never play the game again

it's not

Bravely Default haters in a nutshell.

The fact of the matter is, Sup Forums is too stupid to make decisions on their own. If Dark Souls had the option of lower difficulties, it would get shat on.

>It then gets nerfed to shit because all MMOs have to live by mass appeal now

Do you think the game would have been easier if you knew how to parry?

Maybe, but I managed just fine by only dodging

FFVIII.

Although in my defense I'm in my late 20's and I must have been 8 or 9 the last time I played it.

>You're still retarded for not understanding it back then.
Just waiting for one of you to throw down with me. I wasn't a bright kid, alright?

The junction system made me feel like a fucking idiot, and I was slightly older than that when I played it

At some point I'm going to repurchase FFVIII on the PS3 and fucking master that game.

Only then will I be able to look back at FVIII with fond memories and not feel like such a dumbass.

>Dodging out of and continuing combos in Bayonetta

>tfw stone trophies on almost every level

As a healer who watched a party wipe Tam Tara Deepcroft in FFXIV because the retarded DPSers and tank kept attacking the boss when it was immune to damage instead of killing the enemies that were providing its immunity... I can say this game does NOT need a nerf. If anything, the higher-level dungeons are worse than the lower ones because they start dropping the cool mechanics and revert to shitty tank and spank.

>brute force your way to end of game
>realise there was a mechanic you totally missed

>Bioshock Infinite with most combos
>DK Country 3 with the water bounce
>Super Metroid with diagonal shinesparking, charging up a shot and then morph balling, and some other tricks
>Melee with wavedashing, L cancelling, wobbling, etc.

>game is hard as fuck
>figure out mechanic
>game 2 ez now

Budokai Tenkaichi 2 comes to mind the most what with the Sway feature.

>game has simple, easy to understand mechanic
>explains it to you like you're a child. multiple times

>game has long cutscenes

>uh, actually, it's settled science, you HAVE to choose to ruin your game by playing it a way you don't like

>what is balance

I vastly prefer games where I actually have to use everything at my disposal to succeed, over games where I have to tiptoe around every mechanic for fear of breaking the game into a million pieces.

Oh yeah I sure love boss fights where you have to use every single ability you learned.

Go back to your scripted movie """""games""""" Sonybro.

jesus how many games have you played? like five?

Risen 3 combat makes me feel autistic, but good story.
