It's mostly slow walking and ability spam, luckily you get a party and a fast forward button so it's not long before you're blasting through dungeons to music that has no right being as good as it is
The shit part is how the girls come and go from your party depending on mission choice, really fucks with your "route" if you're playing blind. Well, that and NG+ modes being random if I remember right. You're not guaranteed certain modifiers to exp and such when you complete the game
