Like what? Audio files that fit a certain area?
Fpbp
Put me in the screencap please
spooky audio files or details that are easy to miss
like HL1 also has similar sounds of people screaming at certain parts.
I'm guessing he means details that aren't really explained or brought up at all.
It's basically a sequel to that thread from a day or two ago.
>easy to miss
The fucking random screams of the damned in a railroad where nothing else is happening wasn't exactly "hard to miss"
I see, i don't see what's wrong with the OP though.
Anyway this shit spooked me out in half life 2 aswell

Echoes of WC3 Human Campaign ending cinematic when you enter the throne room in Undercity perhaps? Is that what you're looking for?
youtube.com
here's another from HL2
you can hear windchimes in this dead end area and its the only place you can hear this sound. There are also no visible windchimes
Half Life 2 also has this place where you can hear tubular bells and comfy wind
When you enter Ruins of Lordaeron in World of Warcraft, you can hear crowd cheering before you enter the throne room.
Additionally, inside the throne room you can hear dialogue from the cutscene.
I think you can hear the bells too when you stand near the fallen bell.
Holy shit that's crazy. Try this one on for size though:
>Walk by barking dog
>Look in audio files
>Dog_bark
HL1 has a metric fuckton of weird, easy to miss details.
>packs of Houndeye will take naps in shifts, with one houndeye always being awake to watch for trouble
>Houndeye will power up each others attacks
>Bullsquids have a sense of smell, and will approach and eat corpses even if they're out of sight using smell
>Bullsquids will only eat if they're hungry, but will still investigate smells but not eat them. There's a "reject food" animation
>Cockroaches also use smell to find food
>Ninjas have different behavior depending on if you're looking at them or not
>vortigants will completely stop attacking you forever once you get them to low health and they start to run away
>HL has randomly generated wall and floor textures in a lot of areas, so they look very slightly different every playthrough (broken on Source version)
some gmod maps use that ambience
le monke
Yeah, you can hear the bells. Here's video of the ambience: youtube.com

Holy shit, really? They thought of everything!

citadel has some of the bets sounds
>le subliminal messages xdddd secret!!
reversing audio is just a pretty typical trick for making creepy monster noises, HL2 is filled with this
Why are you so upset?
I'M NOT UPSET
Ocarina of Time has this.
When you enter Kokiri Forest, the blue chicken will crow, indicating that his friend is there.
It's missing in the 3DS remake
Also, why does everyone believe this bitch?
She's fucking crazy, I wouldn't be surprised if she just made the whole "humans turn into monsters" thing up and killed the guy.
She demands the medicine because it was made with mushrooms from the forest, bitch is fucking crazy.
>hehe, will you become one too?
which can only mean
>You better get out of our forest, fucker
she was chuckles the entire time too
But she isn't the only one who says that people transform in the forest. The deku tree and other kokori do too.
I always loved hanging out in this spot for this exact reason, seemed so calm despite the violence surrounding it.
I would imagine it might have been a nice cozy hideout before the headcrabs infested.
Link does become a Stalfos eventually
The spooky noises from tumbleweed in RDR are mostly just npcs hidden behind an area you cant reach to add atmosphere

Where were you when you realized Jesper Kyd is the supreme god of video game composing?
Really, when?
Maybe it's not in the german translation. She says that people turn into plants
Which makes her just creepier.
No, becomes the Hero's Shade.
I don't understand where this "he becomes a stalfos" meme comes from. Is it mentioned/confirmed in one of the Hyrule encyclopedias?
Doesn't make it any less creepy. And not everyone might have noticed it.
Really? Proofs?
In CoD WaW singleplayer when you stand next to a destroyed tank you can hear the tank crew still being alive and suffering.
Post supernatural weird parts in otherwise realistic games
hell valley
Hitman Contracts has a fucking ghost in it
Too bad he wasn't involved in the new game, that would really make it a perfect game.
weird that you can hear muffled smooth jazz when in the citadel
youtube.com
No it's just typical headcanon faggots who probably watch game theory
why didn't yames save angela?
Man I don't hear a lot of those when I play.
It's shit like this that makes me want to replay before I remember they will never finish this series.
Not supernatural its like hearing your phone ring while you're playing music
>aren't really explained
What needs to be explained? Children died, so their ghosts haunt that playground.
Source on image?
Because he's a suicidal fag
Modern Warfare 1 did exactly this after a nuke destroys an entire level.
There's also that rumor about a newscaster in New Vegas.
The assassins from HL1 boobs have jiggle physics this one of the first examples of breast physics in video games
>this vid
>zombie mods in 1.6 are dead
>Rumor about a newscaster in New Vegas
I'm not aware of this.
Well if the name of an audio file counts as an easy to miss detail, I'd say 100% of game's audio files are easy to miss since very few of them are ever noticed.
Without the name of the file, there's nothing 'easy to miss', everyone heard the children voice. The idea that it's 'memories' doesn't even enter the picture until you discuss the name of the file.
Arthas rubbing the petal in his palm and then looking up at the cheering masses is still and will always be my favorite piece of cinimatic/video in video games.
holy fuck
>19 year old pussy he could've had
>lets her die because muh Mary
>re-use a sample in your music
>this makes you a god of video game composing
wow so kafka-esque
>there's nothing 'easy to miss', everyone heard the children voice
i didnt hear it when i played the game
kek
Reminds me of that one time when i was playing Half-Life was at the part with the weird fish thing when all of a sudden the game start playing Marilyn Manson off my harddrive, freaked me out.
