Heck, even in the Xeno games they develop the simple main plots as the story goes on (revenge story turns into a story about how scientists blew up the universe and became gods, humans escaping a threat on Earth trying to find survival on myserious planet are actually not alive and their souls are trapped in puppet bodies).

I keep buying these games and the garbage consoles they come out for (bought a WiiU just for XcX) in the hopes one of them comes close to Gears/Saga.
