Objectively perfect... wow

objectively perfect... wow..

What the fuck, I'm pirating it right now!

>objectively perfect
That's not what it says at all moron

>worse than old school CRPGs in every way
whoa...

wow
*boop*
absolutely perfect
totally not paid for

>imagine being this mad

If you cannot realistically rate any game as a 10, why is 10 on your rating scale?

Why would I have to imagine it?

game of the century

>totally not paid for
>Literally who Belgian developer
>Having the money to bribe video game media like Sony, Ubisoft, or EA
lol

there's no way they haven't paid people and set up bots to shill this game everywhere. I ain't into these kinds of games, but what the critical reception, steam hours and such are so blatantly artificial.

>Confusing journal

Sup

>perfect
>has a flaw

thats why 10/10 is not seen as perfect you dumb fuck. im enjoying this game despite Sup Forums's raging hate erection for it but it's no wear near great, solid 6/10

It looks like I (you) accidentally.

it deserves a 9.9 at most then, but looks like the devs bribed IGN enough to squeeze out that extra .1

>if people enjoy things I don't like they're paid shills
This place is really riddled with mentally ill neets.

>i ain't into these kind of games
>that means positive reception is all fake
jesus you're one self centered cunt aren't you?

>IGN

10/10 is in fact not an indicator of perfection but just simply being the highest quality

I didn't even imply any of that or that the game is bad, just that the reception is suspicious. Work out your kneejerk strawmanning.

>Confusing journal is hard to follow ;_;

OH I'M SORRY, LOOKS LIKE THEY FORGOT TO PUT IN THE MAP MARKERS AND WITCHER SENSES SO YOU CAN FOLLOW A LINEAR TRAIL TO YOUR FUCKIN' OBJECTIVE

then how is it suspicious you dumb cunt? the only reason you feel that way is because you don't like games like this

see

it's all in the numbers you dumb cunt
They get a lot of kickstarter money on top of publisher money

>it's in the numbers
wow, great proof faggot
>they get a lot of kickstarter money
i don't think you realize how minuscule of an amount that money really is compared to the huge devs that spend literally 100s of millions on advertising and the like

The funny thing is that the mini map actually has marking of objectives.

The journal is broken and buggy though. I have one example of it telling me that I can now confront a person while the previous entry for that quest states that I just killed them.

>journal is confusing and hard to follow
>journal details lots of what you need to do, and coupled with actually fucking reading shit gives you ideas about what you should do
>even has fucking flags and shit on the map for important locations
Skyrim ruined RPGs.

Only thing I'd like them to do with the journal is allow quest favoriting/searching by keyword and shit, put quest updates in the log and fix the obviously broken shit

>literally who developer from Belgium bribing several review sites
Hahaha this is the state of Sup Forums

Sup Forums eternally blown the fuck out

obsidiots on the run

cuck

So is the combat turn based or real time with pause?

I've got plenty of shit to play; but next time it goes on sale I might consider it.

Wow, you sure showed him.

>10/10
>Still has a Con

Then it's not a 10/10.

>impressive voiced dialogue
Come on now, the voice acting in D:OS2 is anything but impressive. It's bottom of the barrel gutter trash.

Idk why this gets Sup Forums all uppity. Kinda reminds me of runescape and I love the shit out of that game and world. Is this game just as cozy or am I looking at an enhanced yet overly complicated descendant.

nope, the combat is like a hybrid of fallout 1/2/tactics and xcom without a grid

>xcom

So turns?

Woops, I found it weird but I didn't read you mentioning turn based combat. I misread, My bad

I enjoyed my play-through of the game. It's improved on OS1 in many ways (like the level design, companions and character/item designs) but falls flat on some of the other changes. It is also noticeably more unfinished towards the end (level design bugs, wrong voice acting volume, missing voice acting, more generic NPCs etc.). Some of the common flaws people point out are true though.

>Journal and quest bugs made me miss a couple of quests because the triggers wouldn't fire, indirectly making the final battle more difficult.
>New Initiative system is awful, Wits is less useful and the next turn preview unreliable.
>Con is a completely useless attribute.
>Armor system makes some status effects nearly worthless (mostly debuffs) while others (like slow) arbitrarily ignore armor. It encourages you to focus the entire party on one of the two damage types, with little downside to brute forcing your way through >an enemy that has twice as much of one type of armor.
>With the exception of spell crafting, the crafting system seems like even more of an afterthought than OS1. Most food is useless beyond the first hour and they removed the ability to recolor your clothes.
>There's a large time gap between being able to use source abilities and being able to easily regain source points. Bless costing source, enemies using curse and voidwoken bleeding curse means you rarely make use of bless during this time.
>NPCs starting conversation with the nearest party member is annoying and many conversations can't be walked away from and restarted with the player character.
>Why are there suddenly so many lesbians in Arx?

It's impressive in scale for such a small studio but there are a couple of instance of truly embarrassing voice acting. There was one from a demon or possessed puppet where it just sounded like some regular guy putting on a cuhrazy and edgy minion voice. There was also a few NPCs which had the wrong gender's voice.

>implying something with flaws can't be 10/10

Example: Virtua Fighter 5 has the worst music I've ever heard in my life and the sound effects are just terrible. Also every console version has been half-assed as fuck. Still it's a 10/10 fighting game.

>people saying that 10/10 is perfect and shouldn't ever be used
>even though the scale says ESSENTIAL rather than PERFECT

How do people play these games without getting bored? They are so slow paced, I just can't bare it.

It's really good

Frankly, no Kickstarter has ever given "a lot" of money for this kind of business. Try making even a very basic approximation of the costs involved for a team of Larians (or Obsidians, or InXiles) size over the development cycle.

wrong
virtua fighter is trash and soul calibur is objectively better

>highest quality
>still has flaws

still nonsense.

...

Don't forget about Planescape Torment and BG: II
