No vehicles is why. Running from corner to corner takes ages still.
Once the shooting becomes not-ass it will be pretty fun. I like how well it runs, for instance even 20 people landing same spot in Fortnite has no lag at all while if you land school in PUBG its lag central. 100+ fps on Epic settings.

The shooting is just so damn awful, there is like a weird range between where you want to use a non-scoped weapon and a scoped weapon where a non-scoped isn't good enough but a scoped weapon loses you all peripheral vision.

Rockets are slow as shit but expected for balance, blowing up trees/rocks is neat. Building is pretty used, most games have bridges, stairs etc all over the place and forts end game.

The fact that this game seems to run better will be one of its biggest strengths. PUBG runs like absolute dogshit on the highest end hardware and still manages to look ugly.
