How is this game Sup Forums? is it worth buying? It looks intersting.

it good

Its short but it will tell you to GET GOOD.
Play on Furi mode first.
Then from there its torture but so satisfying when you figure it out and win.

definitely worth buying.

How short?

what if the warden just didn't want you leaving because he didn't want to lose his only company?

If you are looking for something like DMC or Ninja Gaiden, keep in mind that this game is more of a bullet hell than traditional action.

9 Bosses.

6-8hrs. more if you're getting rubbed into the dirt on each boss.
but then you get furier difficulty which makes it worth going through again which will at least double that time.
and you also get boss rush mode which is fun on it's own since the bosses fights are great and refines your performance.

No extra things to do after i replay it twice?

There is practice mode in which determines on how fast you complete the boss gives you a rank and if you get an S rank you get artwork/Soundtest of sorts which has every sound in the game including music

Not really. It gives you scores and grades so if you're into it you can try to perfect every boss on Furier.

good game

speedruns and practice mode to get concept art.
there's really nothing to do but fight bosses, but if you ask me, they're good enough that you want to keep coming back and getting better.
the only fat the game has is the one minute walking section which you can put on autopilot in story mode.
the game is essentially nothing but a boss rush, and that's what they put most of their focus on.

Fighting the dude on the pier/with Broom/sword is one of the more aggrevating fights in the game. Though I guess I am doing it wrong if I keep trying to attack him fiercely.

looks like shit only weebs and autists will like.

Ill check it out thanks Sup Forums.

so you'll getting it then?

best game of 2016
10/10 soundtrack, unique fights, story that is interesting but doesn't get in the way, simple gameplay that is easy to learn but hard to master
buy it

the edge was a pain, but the star was by far the worst especially if your playstyle was most melee

3 hours

fuck the star. took me an hour and a half the first time and three the second time. the star and the old aborigine cunt(forget his name) almost ruined the fucking game for me. bullet hell nonsense.

2nd boss really rubbed me the wrong way because the early forms are ezpz, but the latter forms did shit I didn't expect and managed to whittle away my lives forcing me to start over and have to grind through the easy early forms just to get back to a part with any challenge.

Has anyone beaten the secret DLC boss Bernard? I've only tried a few times but damn he's rough and I'm pretty out of practice. I've got the platinum for the game so I don't suck or anything. He's just hard. By far the toughest boss.

the edge was such a fun fight, but I wish he was harder. needed more phases.

>secret DLC boss
wait I thought it was just the one boss with the three arms?

The Edge should have been the final boss desu

With more phases he'd be perfect. The Star wasnt very fun at all while The Edge has that top tier test of skill narrative on top of a better theme, arena etc.

The fight was very exciting.

I didn't think the star was bad, but I don't agree with how they changed up the movement. really throws off your timing and balance in the fight. that type of change in gameplay mechanics should not be in a game that only has boss fights.

Boss Rush. Great soundtrack. An excellent example of why measuring the quality of a game only by how long it takes you to beat it is fucking stupid.

If you're anal about dollars/hour you might want to wait for a sale. Parrying is a must so keep that in mind if you're bad at that sort of thing. Other than that, it's a fantastic game. One of the best games of 2016.

>bought RUINER
>played through that
>this kinda controls like shit desu
>go back and play Furi
>this is how you do twinstick shit

as a side note, parry window is pretty fucking generous, maybe not as generous and MGR:R, but still.
perfect parries though; I don't see how people can do that on reaction alone. although just regular parrying and decent skills are enough to get you through even furier difficulty.

Bundlestars had it for $5 last 2 months ago for one day.
