I remember back in the day when video games news wasn't as nearly prevalent, I'd see shit like this in magazines and tell myself "Holy shit I'll have that in a year or two" then every few months go "Hey where's that game?" until I forgot about it.

You know I thought Borderland's original design was some random open world IP that got cancelled because I forgot the name in the original article.

Okami doesn't look too fun to play in the beginning but when you sink your teeth and get all the moves it becomes really fun.

MML3 was in development at a time when 3DS was just barely getting off the ground and the argument was kind of there for it not selling well
I think at the time people weren't even sure what kind of competition Vita would provide

it's kind of a shame because the console's library has been fleshed out a lot since then to the point where it's definitively the handheld gaming console to own
assuming you're into that kind of thing. I think Capcom was kind of shortsighted to cancel MML3.

It's pretty rare to release a demo and then cancel a game.

Some say it was deliberately done to spite Inafking which I could see being the case.
Capcom definitely has some weird shit going on behind closed doors. Especially when you look at how much talent has left over the years like Mikami, and Kamiya.

But yeah I think if MML3 were announced around this time it would have had a better case because of how well 3ds is doing.

Really they only have themselves to blame for the state Mega Man IP ended up in.
They've been shitting out low effort yearly installments of Mega Man dating all the way back to the original series.
Everyone but die-hard fans have been knocking them for that ever since.

The vita bioshock game was supposedly an SRPG so it probably would have been much better than any of the actual bioshock games. Pity western vita support dried up so fast.

Apparently Battlefront II is supposed to be not-shit, but previews are so hard to trust these days.

Some guy was able to get a hand of the alpha, or at least parts of it last year.
He was working on making a moc-up version of it on PC in Unity and actually got pretty far.

As long as you have it "purchased" on your account, you can still download the game onto your PS4 from a proxy server instead of the PS Store. The method still works perfectly.

Battlefront 2 still has that stupid fucking card system and you can apparently get boosts in lootcrates which pretty much makes the game p2w.

Do you seriously think Alpha Protocol is a popular game? I doubt it ever made back its budget, it flopped hard. And for good reason I might add, as great as parts of the game are, the combat, minigames, and stealth are all complete dogshit and that's at least half the game.

It's not cancelled, he's just shitposting. They posted a message a few months ago basically saying they have the funds to keep working on the game indefinitely so they're not going to be releasing it or even announcing a release date until they're completely happy with it.

Some of the devs participated in the coup some time ago so the whole studio got shut down
