You picked Malkavian, right Sup Forums?
You picked Malkavian, right Sup Forums?
>le crazy reddit class xD
No
I'm on my 2nd playthrough and I did. It's not that different to be honest, just some of the dialogue is funny.
I wanted to play this but it's so fucking buggy and I just don't enjoy the idea of having to download a mod to make the game playable.
Are you a retarded person?
I played it unmodded and it was fine.
I picked Ventrue because I'm not poor.
First was a toreador, second was a Tremere, and third was a malk.
>that teenager who played Female Malkavian the first time through
who didn't do this, those fucking titties. that thong. that skirt.
lil ugly creepin
>not the bondage outfits
well i have a thong and whale tail and slut dress tease fetishes so yeah, it was a no brainer for me
What other games allow you to play as a slut?
Bayonetta
do guns actually do non-shit damage if you spec in them?
Fuck yes they do. Make sure you get the free point in firearms from that guy in the hollywood cemetery
Skyrim
Depends heavily on the gun. The first revolver really is a damn peashooter, the glock is still bad but the magnum is decent. The late game automatic weapons shred enemies up in no time
Played Malk first and second time, then did the rest of the clans. I think playing Malk the first time is actually good unlike what most people say, but you have to play it again to fully enjoy it.
Guns get to be a lot stronger than melee around Hollywood when you get the Colt, if you set it to fan mode. The Spaz auto shotgun is pretty strong too.
do weapon skills even matter at all? I might want to use a sword or unarmed but the gangrel model is fucking gay
sorry to be a newfag, but what game is this? It looks pretty interesting
I picked Brujah cause they sounded cool. Shame Damsel and her crew were annoying as fuck but at least she was hot.
How old are you? Be serious.
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
Don't be mean to him.
Boy, this is the best RPG ever made. Stop reading, get it and enjoy yourself one of the best gaming experiences you will ever have: playing Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines for the first time.
Also, pick Toreador.
And don't open it
I think this is objectively the way to do it
thanks, I'm buying it when I get paid then
It's mostly about the skill requirement for the weapon, if you have less skill than the requirement you'll get a damage penalty, it's worse with melee because you get staggered when the weapon bounces off your target.
Remember that the Camarilla is your friend.
More like Maximillian Strauss is your friend.
I like Strauss but he kind of proves in a slightly less evil manner that the Camarilla isn't all it's cracked up to be.
>blames the Anarchs for the plague spreading in downtown when the headquarters of the real culprit is literally right across the street from his chantry
>says the Anarchs need the guidance of the Camarilla while his fucking gargoyle is roaming around Hollywood
I think the game wants you to choose the independent path instead of allying with a group. Some groups are still better than others but multiple times you're told that the independent path might be best.
Fuck VV. Wish I could've raped and diablerized that slut.
more like... the chinese... lady...
VV is probably the only character that treats you well and doesn't have a hidden agenda
Are any vtmb mods worth playing? Like clan quest and those things.
>first interaction with ming is her offering you tea when she knows you can't drink it and using every opportunity to degrade vampires
I only sided with her after my fourth or fifth playthrough just to see what would happen and it was pretty much what I expected.
give me a quick rundown on tremere
...
I'll give you that but to be honest being a independent renegade caitiff who single-handedly annihilated the LA Sabbat chapter all but insures your ass will be on almost everyone's hitlist.
They're okay, some of the stuff they do is neat but they have a lot of questionable designs in my opinion. Worth playing, but only once with each for me, I just stick with vanilla now.
Oh yes, who used you to get rid of a hunter on her tail and convince her boyfriend to hand over the screenplay along with a vampire that she manipulates you into taking care of for her.
Vampire mages. Everyone hates them for not being "real" vampires because they became vampires through magic. Their blood magic, thaumaturgy, is pretty strong. You can kill the majority of bosses just with two points in it and no points in melee or firearms. Just use blood purge to stun them, and use blood strike while they're puking. Wait for the blood to come back, and you can end up having more blood than what you started with at the start of the fight.
Wizard pyramid scheme, except as you were embraced outside of the clan, you get all of the associated powers without having to be some Elder's cocksleeve. Also you have the power to make people explode.
I was implying that
aaand she's hot as hell
there is one that add a quest with a chinese girl vampire that you can take on a date and has multiples endings according to your answers. It's great fan service, but clearly not for a first run
Clan started out as a coven of mages that sought immortality and achieved it through being tricked by one of their own into becoming vampire blood mages. They almost killed the guy who did it but then decided to go diablerize a antedeluvian to gain some amount of legitimacy in the eyes of the cainanites.
Yes, but he doesn't really lie to force you to do those things. And that's more that you can say about the rest, except maybe Therese but she's nuts
Not necessarily. If you talk to Strauss after deciding to go independent, he basically says he heard what LaCroix did and hopes you'll survive your assault on him. I don't think he's holding a grudge for not siding with the Camarilla and the Anarchs have no reason to either. I think the only people who would still go after the player would be the Sabbat but they were going to do that anyway.
>there is one that add a quest with a chinese girl vampire that you can take on a date and has multiples endings according to your answers. It's great fan service, but clearly not for a first run
It was pretty well done.
Brujah all the way.
Same with pen and paper world of darkness
Strauss is cool with you but the higher ups in the Camarilla will view you as a threat to their authority considering what you did was essentially flip them off for every vampire sabbat, anarch, and cam to see.
Pisha never lies to you and makes fair trades with you for the things she needs
The only ones who aren't using you in some way are Becket and Mercurio. The malk thin-blood on the beach says as much.
Possibly, but they might understand why you left the Camarilla after what LaCroix did and might not care if you aren't directly contesting their territory or breaking the masquerade. And Caine has your back anyway.
Yep, I didin't remember her. This fucking game...
I can only imagine how strong Tremere who have diablerized other vampires would be. Gangrel for the war form and potence, Ventrue for fortitude, Toreador for celerity, Malkavian for dementation and future sight, and finally god forsaken Tzimisce for fleshcrafting.
Yes, it's pretty fun with the right mods.
My favorite was the gunslinger seduction matador though.
I think your mistakenly assuming that the Camarilla leaders would be as understanding as Strauss is. Those fuckers knew the antedulivans where actually real and instead of hunting them down to save all vampire kind from Gehenna they boasted that they weren't to make everyone think they were the most powerful vamps on the street.
"Using" is a very strong word. VV literally falls in love with you and Therese too.
>treats you well and doesn't have a hidden agenda
>vampires
>capable of love
Finished 8th playthrough.
Already played Clan Quest mod and now looking for something new.
Final Nights or Antitribu?
The only run I haven't done is Nosferatu and that's because I don't want to try and memorize the boring sewer layouts in each area.
Delet this. VV is for holding hands with. Jeanette is for a quick fuck on the side.
What does VV even do to you?
She's so concerned with living beings that's actually detrimental to her.
Yeah, she's so into you that she breaks out of her shitty slut character to send you her poems about you. I think that's kinda cute.
>this is what Susanfags actually believe
You don't really have the memorize it. You can still walk around on the streets if you don't get too close to anyone. You just have to go to the sewers to travel instead of using the taxi, or when you go to see LaCroix.
>What does VV even do to you?
Be the only Vampire in the entire game to not give you jack shit for helping her.
Therese is needy and cute despite being a slut, she's doing that for attention and pretty much calms down if she kills Jeanette
Well, it's canon and happens ingame so how about you go be salty about not having someone that cares about you so much that the curse of the undead is not a limitation to show your love.
>used to like jeanette
>now find myself likeing therese more
What happened
Who was the most misled vampire in the entire game and why was it Nines?
She gives you a lot of EXP, reputation and unconditional love.
Also an extremely expensive signed photograph and a bunch of poems.
Her love is the reason why you became so strong since no other vampire but Caine has ever fallen in love. That's how you overcame the prince's Dominate
Pirate it and don't feel bad about it.
Activision shut down the studio.
because she's not making bussiness with you. She likes you
>remember how scary the werewolf was
>open a youtube video showing that level
>get scared simply from reliving the memory
Man that was some real shit.
You grew up and liked the authority and respect she demanded. Jeanette's sexy and all but she's kind of shallow.
I think Antitribu makes more changes overall, but each clan in Final Nights gets their own side quest. Both are worth playing at least once, just depends what you want.
>Well, it's canon
Proofs?
>happens ingame
Even the loading screens tell you it doesn't and also can't happen
anyone who likes jeanette has the sexual tastes of a 14 year old
A Toreador being a Toreador. Everything is about her.
>mfw i killed the werewolf
you are getting wronger
yep, and the sales of a good old RPG won't mean anything to them
Aren't toreador known for being incredibly passionate with someone for a time and then moving on though? She'll likely lose interest after a while.
Best to just enjoy it while it lasts and just have Jeanette as a fuck buddy.
That's because Toreadors are the ones that idolize humanity's emotions and fetishize them strongly. VV's romantic, yes, but if the game didn't clue you in, it's nothing serious and very fleeting until she finds her next knight in shining armor. She's honest, sure, but she knows how to get what she wants.
Malkavians are more or less the only clan that can really be trusted provided they're somewhat lucid. They're the only one capable of retaining true human emotions, depending on their madness.
I'm ok with that
So what's the best clan to choose if I want to roleplay a ruthless king among vampires? I assume there are actual gameplay choices to end up a ruler of some sort
Therese is an incestual stuck up, frigid bitch with a pseudo dominatrix attitude and low self esteem. She's awful.
Jeanette literally has sex with you. She feels scared and alone unless you are next to her and ask you to come visit often.
VV literally saying she fell in love with you and that you are the most important person to her?
Her boyfriend quest was a giant clue hinting you in on her shitty personality.
>this game made a year before reddit started existing has a "le crazy reddit class xD"
You shitposters are almost as bad as the Sup Forums "2001 a space odyssey is literally a reddit film"
Kindred literally can't fall in love. It's explicitly stated in-game that all they care about is blood and survival. She's literally just being a Toreador, doing what they do best. Nothing wrong with that, but unironically thinking she loves you as anything more than flavor of the month is setting yourself up for disappointment.
>mfw I banged Jeanette, VV, Romero and Kallian on my female malk run
>Unironically wants the textbook Malkavian "too fucking crazy to function banging head on walls and muttering satanic shit distantly" instead of the fish Malk.
I hope you never become a game developer you fucking fag.
Hmmmm
Not really? Specially not her, she's very attracted to kindness and passion, that's why she had a crush on that writer. A crush that lasted years mind you.
Toreador just enjoy the human, not have HDHD.
Yes, Toreadors are the definition of lust and desire, but fail to grasp true love and affection, which is the ultimate tragedy of their clan. They tend to be the most superficial and shallow of all the vampires. It's easy for them to gain humanity, but also to lose it due to their capricious natures.
>Kallian
Who?
...
Not quite. The best you can do is overthrow the current ruler of LA, but even then, he was always intended to die by the people who left him in charge. That said, Ventrue are often the ones chosen for leadership positions and even have an ability called Dominate that subjugates the minds of others.
...
>VV's romantic, yes, but if the game didn't clue you in, it's nothing serious and very fleeting until she finds her next knight in shining armor. She's honest, sure, but she knows how to get what she want
Oh, I'm sure a new Childe will show up and be just as kind as you were to her and everyone around you.
VV does use you to get what she wants but she actually does fall in love with you if you do the quest properly. Unlike Therese who falls in love with you if you do her end instead of the black and white end.
If you do even one thing wrong during VV's quest her behavior changes drastically from honest feelings to sexy flirting.
