As someone who didn't play the game, what was wrong with the movie?
Warcraft
Nothing it was okay, there was a couple of lore changes but who cares it worked out really well
i thought it was pretty cringe at times. but it was alright. trying to put giant WoW scale armor on real people looked kinda goofy and having to cram shit in so normies would understand was off putting to me. the orcs were the best part and had great scenes
They should've make it CGI only.
Changed some things that didn't need changing and did a somewhat poor job of explaining the world.
I liked it, though.
Most of the people who watched the movie didn't play the game either since the story was based on WC1, and ancient DOS game. Since they started the movie there instead of WC3/WoW it was clear they wanted to make next the big franchise, but the movie took too long to get made instead of cashing in at WoW peak popularity (WOTLK), so it bombed outside of chinkland (who gobbles up all American garbage CGI fests).
I honestly liked it. It's a lot better on the second viewing because they try to fit so much into 2 hours. They should of went with the longer runtime.
It would of made the movie way better as a whole if they had more time to explain shit and add a little more. (especially the last fight. You could tell the director was dying because he could only make that fight last literally 2 seconds.)
This honestly.
I enjoyed the movie a lot but I think that the back and forth between cgi orcs and real human was kind of jarring, especially in scenes where they were fighting each other.
The problem was that the story was too long to fit within one movie. A lot was cut out which is why the first half jumps around so much.
Could of should of would of.
The movie was a jumbled mess, just like your grammer
It was based on a videogame
Based on the Warcraft game that nobody cared about. Should have started with Warcraft 3, Arthas' story is pure kino and would translate to the screen well.
>there was a couple of lore changes
The lore was completely raped.
It would probably work better as a Netflix series or something
Actors were too boring, they probably couldn't get in character because they were just surrounded by greenscreen shit, that's probably why the actors with MoCap did a better job and felt more human than the humans.
>just like your grammer
>like your grammer
>your grammer
>grammer
There are a lot of reasons to hate grammar nazi's but at least use spell check dingus.
WoW already raped the series' lore anyway.
Please be bait
He wrote it like that so you would fall for it and call him out
I think
Was I supposed to feel bad for the orcs because they deserve to be genocided desu
shut the fuck up Jaina, you got ORCED the first one
The human parts were shit
Unnecessary retcons when they already had a perfectly reasonable plot
Dalaran is a floating city already and people just fucking fly up there on the regular
Most offensive of all is that the first real battle against the orcs is their entire invasion force trying to besiege Stormwind after killing nothing but farmers, but getting blown the fuck out by heavy cavalry which they have never seen before. In the movie it's
>WHAT IF WE GAVE EVERY HUMAN FOOTMAN A GUN
