Tyrion is a faggot. He's easily the most broken hero in the game. I got him to Lv.30 (which doesn't appear to be max level) with his full artifact set. I had 165 armour, 5.3k HP, 96 defense, 104 attack, 710ish damage, 99 speed.
I could easily get him up to 255 armour with spells. With Life Mage healing, he just doesn't die.
And for some fucking reason, Kroq-Gar doesn't have a special spear weapon. His weapons are Sun Gauntlet (which is just a Gou'ld Ribbon device from Stargate SG-1) and Grymlok mount. Where is his Spear of Tlaxana?

Depends on which factions you like, but Total War Warhammer 2 is much more difficult and has fixed a few things whilst also making stuff more annoying (it'll tell you about upgrades possible and you can no longer camp your heroes to boost areas due to notifications).
So, if you like High Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen or Skaven. Get this one. If you like Empire, Dwarfs, Wood Elves, Bretonnians, Orcs & Goblins or Chaos Warriors + Norsca + Beastmen, go with the first one.
