I beat the camel divine beast. I don't think I really enjoy the whole "move the divine beast" with the map feature... something about it just irks me. However, the thunder ganonblight boss fight was pretty intriguing. It always felt nice parrying him when he fast dodged towards me. After that I fucked around some trying to find shrines.

I literally just beat Champion Gundyr a couple of minutes ago. He actually made me put down the game for a couple of months out of frustration. I had no troubles with any other bosses up to that point. The rage phase was just beyond annoying, but thankfully I got a little better at parrying and was able to slay him (after doing other shit since he's optional)

Got my SNES Classic, so I'm going through Starfox 2 a few times to get a better run.

Been playing Golf Story, its my only switch game till Mario.

The only new games I even play are ones that I think are in line with the games from my youth anyway. I've got Cuphead, I'm enjoying that because it's basically Gunstar Heroes.

yeah i don't really play a ton of new stuff anymore, part of that is having a job and competition for time but part of that is just that i don't feel like experimenting anymore

Everything is golfing based, but you use golfing in tons of abstract ways to get things done. My only complaint is that there isn't really any character customization which blows because its a game that makes you want to connect to your MC but just lacks anything making him stand out.

Rage of Mages. It was a pain in the ass to get this thing running even on XP.

Mostly strategy games, tycoon games and war simulators. When you start moving up in years, you tend to lose interest in kiddie genres like action games or JRPGs.

I've never played Tekken before and it's fun to learn something with a lot of esoteric bullshit.

I recommend you to emulate dreamcast version of Dino Crisis 1 friend. Its ridiculous how much it blows out of hte water the original PC release and the ps1 version too. Sound is high quality as fuck and it feels like someone removed the blanket from over your head, and it looks super sharp visually too.
