game industry crash 2.0

What is it used for?

I will never understand why you people care so much about shitty practices in games you already don't care about.

World War 3

Because its a slippery slope. Big companies start doing it too often and eventually everyone will think its the norm, including the retarded consumers.

>Sup Forums constantly pirates games
>REEEEEE WHY ARE THEY ADDING MICROTRANSACTIONS AND DLC

I didnt care about paid online and now it's fuckin everywhere

hehe you poor kid get a job this is how the industry works :D

MODS

One more month, lads.

Makes no difference to me if people wanna piss money through their hands

>buy game for 60$
>can pay more with microtransactions
opposed to
>pirate game for 0$
>can't even pay for microtransactions

piratefags win again baby

you're right who gives about Call of Duty we only play masterpieces such Stalker and EYE here

>2003
>Oh, console ports have matchmaking? Whatever, I just won't play games without server browsers.
>2017
>console ports are topping sales charts
>matchmaking fucking EVERYWHERE

How are those two related?
Why would you think if nobody pirated they wouldn't add microtransations and DLC?
Do you come from some fantasy land where corporations will ever stop at something less than maximum profits at minimal expense?

cheese pizzas

>playing 2017 cod
>complains about the industry

that's a lotta cp

I'm basically coming back after a nine year hiatus. Building a new PC and everything

Last game I bought was codwaw. Explain to me why I wouldn't want this one if I've missed the last 9 years of releases?

Matchmaking killed subcommunities and turned everyone into a raging shithead because why even have an inkling of decency when you'll just play with another group 5 minutes later and never feel any consequences

This sums it up pretty much. Capitalism ruins everything it touches because the endgame is casting the widest net possible which always means dumbing the product or service down for the lowest common denominator. The lowest common denominator also vastly outweighs hobbyists and others with even a modicum of standards, so eventually alternative and hobbyist markets will eventually be swallowed by monoliths funded by the normies or run out of business.
