So how does it run Sup Forumsroskis?
Most interested in 2560x1440 perf.

For me and from what I have heard from just about everyone else is that it runs better than 1 which itself was way better than Shitilla and R2 (the former being the worst TW performance wise to date). I’ve had 6k rat dudes against 4K rat dudes and I’m still pulling 60 on a 1080ti which last game might have dipped a bit.

I have a regular 1080, TWW 1 ran at roughly 60 maxed with FXAA at 2560x1440 for me. Sometimes it dipped, but not too badly. If I can get that level of performance here I'd be happy.

Much worse for me compared to WH1. I pulled 60 fps both in campaign map and in battles in WH1. Sometimes dropping to 40 in really big battles. That was with pretty much every single setting at max. In WH2 on the exact same settings I get around 30 fps in the campaign map and a bit more in battles. Also, SLi makes the entire game flicker and stutter like crazy(which they have said they will fix in a coming patch). Some people have claimed it runs better than WH1 so if you want you can take your chances and hope you are one of the lucky ones.

I would like to add however, that the game loads much faster than the first.

What are your specs if I may ask?

Have they sped up the enemy turn animations? That shit was infuriating

I'm sitting on a GTX 690, i7-3770k and 16 gb RAM. Which is not high end but was enough to run the first on pretty much maxed out settings. Sli does not seem to be optimized in this game because I only gain around 10 fps with it turned on. But I'm pretty much forced to have it off unless I want to play with constant flickering.

You can speed it up yourself. You can even choose which factions you want to see during their turn and who you would rather skip.

I can run it at roughly 20 frames at lowest settings on a shitty Dell laptop with built in AMD Graphics that can barely run WoW. Should run on most anything that can go to 2560x1440.

Getting constant 60 FPS (never seen it dip) maxed out at 1440p with a 8800GTX. Smooth as silk.

My bad, meant to say that it should run good all around. Gonna have my proper rig again in a day or too, it could run the first one at 60 with just a 760

It runs much hotter than TW1. My fans rev up when playing TW2 like they only do for Beastmen ambush maps in TW1.
Had to force cap it at silky smooth 30fps just to be able to hear the background music. Otherwise it's a fantastic game!

Yes. Seriously, I can maintain 60fps on High everything settings (was Ultra on TW1) with a RX480 but my fans are on max ALL the time: in small battles, in the campaign map, in the diplomacy screen...

My fan curve doesn't go over 60%, it's not that noisy. At full load they still manage to keep the card at roughly 78C, depending on ambient.

Even after 200 turns they can be sped up to borderline instant
