I'd say either Horizon or BOTW to be completely honest. Both were great. Played both and loved both.

I'm certain every outlet will give it to BOTW but personally I thought they were about even. Horizon had better combat and more story but BOTW did everything else better.

Unity is a game engine you huge retard. You can't redefine things to fit your agenda. PUBG uses unreal and you can't import shitty cheapo unity asset packs into it, it's explicitly against the license agreement for most things.

The judges are select journalists (usually editor in chiefs), Keighley and a few other game related people.
This usually means people from polygon, ign, gamespot, giant bomb, game informer, penny arcade, etc.

In other words, a fairly casual group of judges. They would vote for BotW or Mario.

Though from what I've seen of Keighley his tastes are actually not very casual, so he probably wouldn't pick either of these games.

There are few games that have been masturbated over as furiously as BOTW. It's pretty much everyone's favorite game of all time now and the greatest thing ever according to 90% of the games journalism industry and most people that play games.
