What's your opinion on DLC?

Reddit's "CHEESE FOR EVERYONE" DLC killed Sheogorath as a character.

Oblivion killed Cyrodiil as a setting so its fitting

Reddit was just made and almost nobody posted on it when this DLC came out. Why are you using a website as an adjective to mean something else?

Because my vocabulary has been stunted by browsing Sup Forums. All I can do is call people cuck faggots.

Expansion packs that add a lot of content are good DLC

Adding 3 new weapons or a single new character is bad DLC

reddit has become a term to describe those just deep enough into internet culture to misuse/overuse a meme, but not deep enough to use it well or sparingly
Mainly because reddit was the driving force behind a lot of terrible forced memes, see harambe

Shivering Isles was the best dlc experience I've ever had tbqh.
I thought the setting was really cool.
If I could I would make the Elder Scrolls Series about take place in daedric realms like the Shivering Isles.

>Adding 3 new weapons or a single new character is bad DLC
if it's like a dollar or something, I'd be down for it. It depends on the price/size ratio for me.

In my opinion they tend to not mesh well with the rest of the game if it's just a few random pieces of equipment. You end up with immersion breaking weird loot places where they hand you the gear, and usually they're overpowered so people want to buy them.

Like, I have the complete version of Dragon's Dogma, and so there's just a bunch of random arbitrary shit in my character's storage whenever I make a new character with no explanation. Or in Bethesda games there well just be somebody who spawns who gives you the DLC stuff for free with some stupid flimsy justification.

I remember when we called them secrets or unlocks. Get off my lawn.

I called them expansions.
I was a young boy.

Shivering Isles is a candidate for the most overrated dlc ever created.

Dlc in general was fine as a concept when it was large expansion packs and before microtransactions and season passes existed.

Sheogorath is the best deadra

Cancer.

It's alright as long as the developers aren't working on the DLC before the game even hits the shelves. On disc DLC deserves the electric chair to anyone who thinks that is a good idea.

before SI, yea

>Shivering Isles is a candidate for the best dlc ever created.
Hey man your autocorrect or something messed with your post but I fixed it

I'll still like him after becoming the meme man.

some games have it good other games are bad. i'm not into buying DLC unless it's game of the year.

I really can't think of any that I've played that were really great. Lair of the Shadow Broker was okay, but entirely perfunctory.

It's all about price, all people want is to get their money's worth, followed by getting their time's worth.

The Witcher 3 is among the greatest games, and the developers let you download and try it for free, the DLCs were virtually free and one was the size of 3/10th of the game.
Fallout 4 offers DLC for extortionate prices and offers cheap crappy DLC for cheaper prices.
ALL the DLC offered is desirable, even horse armour would be a neat addition, it's just not worth: 1. Buying in the first place, and 2. Encouraging that kind of greed.

I like the golden saints

Only if you let it.

waiting until all DLC is available and buying the full bundle when it's on sale.

Don't sell yourself short, user. I'm certain you can call people niggers, too.

I like Hermaeus Mora

I wish base game Oblivion was even half as interesting as shivering isles

Le upvote

make it stop please

i buy the dlc i want. which after like 10 years of dlc is like 10 dlcs

It never will

Some of it is good, but unless shit massively improves it was ultimately to our detriment.

CHEESE

dlc is good (i.e witcher 3)
companys are bad (i.e. activision, EA)

>liking daedra

It's definitely done more good than harm in my estimation.

>liking false gods
