Fuck that impossible language. Not even the Japanese understand it completely.
find a game you like and look stuff up as you go, anything to make it interesting would have to help
>gook speak
Get your terminology straight, you fag.
Chinese are Chinks, Koreans are Gooks, and Japanese are Nips.
they're japs you retarded weaboo, if they'd drop you on the country it'd be the next hiroshima and nagasaki you fat fuck
>being this new
all gooks are gooks.
It's all moon runes weaboo.
I was so unmotivated in the beginning, I'd somehow got this impression that you need to know like 50,000 kanji just to be able to read newspapers. I was like, fuck, that's gonna take years, even if I memorize 100 per week.
Then I found out it's actually like 2000 characters and with 6000, you can even read scientific journals. I'd already crammed like 2,5k, went to pick up some manga and realized I can already read no problem. Some serious mandela effect moment, like reality was changed to make it easier for me. Thanks jesus.

are there any sesame street kind of show in japanese?
Learn a useful language instead.
like what
Literally anything else. Hell, learning Latin is more useful than Japanese.
anime and games don't come in latin retard.
They don't come with girlfriends either.
there's plenty of normies with wifes and children who enjoy weeb shit.
Studied some japanese in random school years ago. The teacher talked about having to learn around 5000 kanjis to read newspaper.
I don't know, it's still shitload of learning. Kinda just gave up also there weren't anymore advanced classes. It's really easy language except writing and reading part.
I bet they didn't learn moon rune to do it.
2000 still seems like much. I can't even memorize all the commands in oddworld.
there's only 201 radicals.
all kanjis are simply diferent radicals put togheter.
Quick question, should I memorize the radicals of kanji or just focus on being able to read the kanji itself?
>learning actual vocabulary is BS
learning the radicals will let you guess the meaning of the ones you don't know.
is just tiresome grinding.
Some posted this last thread, it's what I'm going to be using. Just need a good place to start with the kana
So learning vocabulary in every language is tiresome grinding?
A lot of them are piss-easy and obvious like numbers 一,二,三, or so common you see them everywhere all the time, 車,事,家. And like the other user said, after you get familiar with the radicals, it just boils down to reassembling the puzzle pieces you already know in different patterns.
For kana, I just kept a notebook and practiced each set several times until I memorized it. You don't need anything special for it. It's just like learning the alphabets in elementary school
There's no hope if you're dumb enough to ask this on the video game board and not /jp/. Consider suicide instead.
there's a diference between simply being exposed to a language, like a toddler, and grinding words you forget next day.
repetition is literally wasting your time.
>is just tiresome grinding.
There are many ways to make it fun, though. Some people remember better by writing down the characters and studying the strokes, some people by seeing the character used in a real context. One way is just going through pages of Japanese wikipedia or something using a browser addon like rikaikun, that tells you the meaning and reading of the kanji. You can also start "collecting" characters that you can give personal meaning to, gather them in a doc and then review every once in a while.
I just grind anki decks, because I'm a boring person and don't need anything flashy to keep attention.
