Yes its the best entry in the series, had the most gampleay variety, the best main cast cause they all actually gradually grow as people and had way more believable relationships, and once you really sit on the ending its not as absurd as it first comes across once you realize its just people being brainwashed for a reality game show.

The only thing i really dislike is chapter 3 is yet again another fucking double murder and by far the weakest trial. That and the game could of did a better job at explaining that the original continuity is completely unaffected by V3, like yeah i get it they were baiting you into thinking its the same world but it kind of angered me initially when i thought they were saying the original entries were just events made by team danganronpa

I think what angers me about chapter 3 in v3 though, is how great it could of been to have made kiyo survive cause he only killed tenko and had someone else kill angie.

The idea of shuuichi and maki having to take care of her like a child is kind of heartwarming to think about. More so than any other Dr game I want to see the survivors again and see them in an actually important role. Shuuichi and maki starting a rebellion against the danganronpa writers sounds amazing. I imagine they probably inspired some people to start a future foundation like group.

Basically same boat i am, I genuinly think Shuuichi is one of the best if not the best character in the series.

The pool was huge, half empty, and it was in the center of it all

danganronpa 1 and 2 were on the borderline of vn and just a straight adventure game, V3 is way past that line and is just a straight game, way too many minigames, side content, interactive moments like all of chapter 6, failable moments and so forth.

You know maki and himeko isnt exactly the worst trade off in the world.

I think it has the overall best case quality, by a slim margin. Best opening case, easily. 3-5 was almost as good as 2-5. Characters are on par with 2.

Havent seen anyone denying maki loved kaito, nor anyone denying shuuichi didnt love kaede. People are just pointing out that theres the possibility they will become love interests in a later game cause they really are eachothers only options at this point.

No one is saying it absolutely is going to happen. But given the nature of this franchise being about moving on from tragedies for a happier future, it'd make sense that shuuichi and maki are both going to eventual move on. People probably just want them to move on together since they are a duo at this point just not romantically.

The confirmation is that they take place in seperate continuities, but theres some debate that in V3's world the hope peaks stuff may of actually happened but theres no real backing to it.

The only thing for sure is that V3 cant effect 1-3's continuity at all even if it tried. at least unless they change that in the future.
