The RWBY cancer only got popular in Japan because somehow it managed to get some popular japanese voice talents in it, so why is Ruby's original english is forced down on the game? The music is even from the series too, something that I've never seen in an ArcSys game before.

That's 80% of with one pretty easy looking combo but you have to remember that there are actually 2 characters you need to beat. So you actually did more like 40%.

DBFZ has the opposite problem right now. You can have a 30 second long combo that uses 5 bars of meter and only deal 80% health to one of the 3 characters. And then they switch out and regen a good chunck of it.
Damage scaling is a bitch to balance.

RWBY is a series about fighting with animation that looks like something you'd see as a bumper on a kids TV network in the mid 00's, is a series about characters instead of story with voice acting that sounds like house of the dead but without the ironic comedy value, and is a series with music that sounds like an avril lavine cover band done in someones basement using a cheap microphone and a pirated music program instead of professionals that have made well liked music for decades

RWBY is so bad. The animation was bad and then it got better but the story stayed the same lukewarm shit so there was no noticeable improvement.

fighting anime tend to have flashy animation, and failing that at least nice looking stills. RWBY is a pile of CGI horseshit that has roughly the same animation fluidity as a GMOD video made in 2007

fighting anime tend to have hype voice acting by professionals that have done countless series before. outside of the pretty good dub va's that are all cast in B-level characters all the voices in RWBY are literal interns that they hired just because they were around the office at rooster teeth and were attractive girls they wanted to have sex with and sound like trash. I'd say it sounds like a newgrounds fanime but most of the people in those went on to actually become real voice actors so the main cast of RWBY are infinitely more incompetent
