>omg batman u had the cure and was going to cure me but then i stabeded u in the arm and u droped it and u killed me, you really are a maniac killer xD
This was the dumbest fucking ending. Arkham City's story was a joke.
>omg batman u had the cure and was going to cure me but then i stabeded u in the arm and u droped it and u killed me, you really are a maniac killer xD

I have no idea what you're on about OP, but that was a good death for Joker, it's always good when he's written as human instead of the all-too-usual "god of insanity" perfect, edgy planner tripe
Asylum > City > Origins > Knight
He didn't know if Batman was going to give it to him at first.
>kills off character
>brings him back in the next game to keep tormenting the main character in hallucinations
Fuck Arkham Knight. Also fuck Arkham City's shitty ending.
I have no idea why people like these games, they are so fucking boring.
>Been watching all the DC:AU lately
>Watched Batman dead last for some reason
>All of sudden the classy 50's aesthetic is dropped out of fucking nowhere for super sterile minimalist shit
>That blatantly obvious Jonah Hex pilot used as one of the Season 3 episodes
It was really nice to see Ra's al Ghoul be the "final boss" of Batman's series, I would have rolled my eyes if it was the Joker - especially that AWFUL redesign he got.
Harley's Holiday might be the best episode of anything I've seen out of the entire DC:AU.
All of Justice League was garbage, it was kind of... Stuff that happened. Sometimes it was entertaining, sometimes not. So many missed opportunities.
Superman was excellent. Everything about Darkseid and Brainiac was cool as hell. Metallo was my favorite villain even if most episodes with him were super lame.
Debating on watching Static Shock and Batman Beyond.
Knight has an objectively better story than City.
City is half-baked in every aspect. I like that Knight goes all-out. Only bad thing about it is the stealth batmobile sections are p boring
It's not DCAU, but Batman Brave and the Bold is pretty good if you want something when your done with it.
Actually that's what got me into Batman.
I was always kind of aware of the series (literal 90's kid, not a meme, dad always got me the toys but I never watched it) so Brave and the Bold was a fucking awesome headfirst dive.
I'll admit the whole "LE FUCKING BATMAN" narrative Brave and the Bold pushed got old considering I didn't know much about him, but the series was still fucking cool as hell.
>That ending
Also I forgot, in the scouts we used to watch the Adam West Batman show all the time.
Why didn't he just lick it off the floor?
Batman Beyond is actually great because it's forced to let go of the Batman status quo and actually develop new characters, and on the rare occasions it does bring back old characters it's always sad or fucked up in some major way.
>All of Justice League was garbage
Opinion thrown in the fucking trashcan, burned, and shot to space far, far, away . What the fuck.
Joker's not wrong, though. Batman is responsible for his death, at least in the mind of the Batman I know. He's undoubtedly thinking he should have planned for the Joker to pull some shit, but he wasn't prepared for something so obvious.
My major gripe with the Arkham games was the Joker dickriding. Even when the fucker is dead he's still kicking around. He was also totally shoe horned into Origins even though that game would have been fine without him.
Even Justice League Unlimited?
>Putting Origins above anything
Fuck that piece of shit
Batman Beyond
> newBats Terry is a smug dick who's trying to juggle being Batman and gettings bjs from his spoiled girlfriend after his pops gets killed by Wayne Enterprises
>villains routinely get murdered, Terry gives zero fucks about trying to save crazies who are beyond help
>old Bruce has fucked up all his previous relationships, is lonely, bitter and callous as a result
>tons of body horror with human experiments, mutations, and genesplicing
>Gotham City has literally never been more corrupt, the wealthy actively pray on the poor with large Corps financing gangs
>Babs is Commissioner, is having none of this Batman bullshit when Terry starts showing up
>The Joker is immortalized by a bunch of tryhard rich kids dressing as clowns to assault people and cut class
>all the old villains are either dead or have met horrible fates even worse than death
I thought this was supposed to be the kid friendly sequel
City > Knight > Asylum > Origins
>only made Batman Beyond because execs wanted a teenage Batman
>Justice League started out as heroes training kid apprentices
It's amazing those shows turned out as good as they did.
You have officially piqued my interest. I'll check it out. I have seen the uncensored version of Return of the Joker, just not the full series.
Watch it again. The character interaction was great but every episode was the same fucking thing.
>Some alien shows up and starts shit
>X happens and they get BLOWN INTO AN ALTERNATE DIMENSION WHOAAAA
>All that Brainiac/Luthor shit that went ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOWHERE and he got beat in one episode
>Superjobber
>GL only making lasers and bubbles
>The Flash getting basically nothing
I can only think of a few major things that stood out.
>Superman's adventure in the future
>FUCKING AQUAMAN HOLY SHIT
>"But what ab-"
>"Clark Kent, Diana, Jon Stuart, Barry Allen, Bruce Wayne. Shut up."
It was better than Justice League, but the fact they went back to trying to cram a whole story into 22~ minutes sucked.
Why did Batman carry out the wrong person
I actually really liked that. The Joker was a huge fucking thing for Bats and that death weighed on an already cracked mind. Honestly I mostly cared because Hamill got to the voice the Joker one more time. NOONE will ever do the character as much justice as Hamill did.
I don't remember much about the fate of the old villains from Beyond, care to elaborate in spoilers for each one?
Beyond has a lot going for it. It's a lot darker than regular batman but in a way it's also less mature too. It feels like BTAS was made for young people and adults while BB felt like it went all in for it's teenager audience.
This is the correct one.
