It only seems generic cuz you've seen so much western style. To the Japanese their shit looks generic because the style is so common. Its all about perspective.

That's a neat cover, this is what I mean they don't just have a generic Cg render of the main character usually. Unfortunately I think starting with the PS3 things really went downhill on both sides. There's s lot of Genesis and SNES covers I really like but a lot of games now have pretty generic covers

Yeah probably, but it's neat seeing the art we don't have the original game makers art usually on our box art, look at dragon Quest vs dragon warrior I think the dragon warrior games have some neat art but it's also interesting seeing the original makers choice for box art
