Since /drg/ shat up the last thread what is your opinion on V3?

Every day I like it more and more. The ending takes some time to really sink in

the plot twist or trial 6 is what ruined the game.. no the entire series. on par with the anime. it was a fun ride up till that point.

People who hated it are retards that believed every word the mastermind said.

People who liked it realized the mastermind may not have been telling the truth which ties into the overall theme of the game.

V3 takes place in a world where Danganronpa got so popular, they started doing it in real life. The participants are brainwashed into thinking they are Ultimate Students and kill each other on live TV for entertainment.
And then the epilogue goes "OR WAS IT ALL A LIE DUDE?"

Everyting that happened in previous danganronpas was all a fiction story, danganronpa seasons kept coming and this one is the 53rd (V3 = 53). Every character in the game was a real person that had their memories removed and was given a new personality, all of wich they accepted so they could appear on their favourite reality show.

The game literally straight up outright says "just because it was fiction doesn't mean what happens means any less" that's the entire reason why Shuichi was pissed, because to him it wasn't fiction. They made the best of what they had.

This never happened if you watched the prolouge, yet Tsumugi said it happened and they wanted to be part of the show.

The high school hunts made talented students lose their memories and made to think they were normal students.
They were then kidnapped again by team Danganronpa thinking they had abilities.
The monokuma cubs in the prologue were shocked they had no abilities so they rewrote them to give them another set of memories and to remember their abilities again as a character of the show.
You can trust this more than other things as they weren't hit by the remembering light at all that point of the game.
Also Rantarou acted like his previous self in the last game v2 during the prolouge.

The got their clothes during the prolouge why would they have them when they just found out they were gonna be in the game?

There's still an unknown period of time between when they saw the first flashback light and when Kaede woke up in the locker again.

What would happen during that break exactly?

1. Normie Kaede walks out of the locker
2. They were then hit with the light and get into ultimate clothes. The monokuma cubs being impressed with the clothes means they wore it for the first time.
3. Hit again to forget this event and to have memory of the life of somebody talented.
4. we get ultimate kaede walking out with new memories.

The contradiction is at 2. As they volunteered to be part of the game in their normie clothes, not the their ultimate clothes. However, that couldn't have happened unless they auditioned before changing into their ultimate clothes, which happened when they got new memories.

Cases 1-5 were great but I didn't care much about the ending since it was left very open and vague regarding what was actually true and the finale went on for waaaay too long. If they had given out something concrete and elaborated on stuff instead of mastermind revealing the flimsy premise (that might be a lie) and showing interviews (that might also be a lie) I would have probably liked it better.

Also I didn't particularly care about any of the survivors by the end.
