yeah hey, okay
template
I was a boring kid that played almost nothing buy Pokemon until I hit High School.
I'd be lying if I said tf2 wasn't one of them.
Met my best friends playing tf2. First PC game I ever bought at fucking gamestop in 2008.
>more than 1 pic for each
we do things a bit different here, reddit-kun
not him but it says gameS right there on the template, chucklefuck. You're trying too hard to fit in from the played/expected/got threads
>gameS
yes 1 game for panel makes it 4 gameS
I hope you're trolling
Christ I'm old.
>childhood defining game
>a game that came out when he was -1
nice larp, you probably played prince of persia on ps2
>96

you guys are like apple-fags I swear
It's not unreasonable. I introduced my nephews to old games first because honestly it's a lot easier for them to handle a basic 2D side scroller when they're 3 or 4 years old.
>chrono trigger
nice
Yes because kids are not allowed to play games from before they were born, nice one, you caught me in a lie.
what can I say, a second-hand gamecube was all my fuck poor parents could afford. Been doing better since dad divorced my money drain mom.
Am I the only one that can't remember jack shit about their childhood?
Am I the oldest one here?
everyhing before Highschool is a blur but even then I don't remember shit.
minecraft in all fields
>anything born after '90
Get the fuck out.
Do people in this thread really think that people buy games the year when they come out? I was born in literal 3rd world Africa so I didn't have shit growing up. I think I still had an PS1 until like 2006.

Nice blog dude
Where do I subscribe
Tf2 is dead mate.
Battlefield 2 is less dead and the devs left it for dead.
Valve would do their own games a favour if they stopped doing anything.
In a year, people who were too young for the PS2 will be legally allowed to post here user.
This, I owned a bootleg ps1 which I stopped using when I was given an actual retail ps2
...
So we aren't allowed to have our motives and explain why, what are you 12?
Go back to bed
Don't you ever reply to my post ever again.
>Do people in this thread really think that people buy games the year when they come out?
yes and that's why op's asking what defined their childhood. sorry that being poor robbed you of amazing times.
Loved Talos Principle. I still need to play the dlc.

as long as enough of my fav servers are alive the rest of the game can die as far as i care. still having fun personally. MyM and the earlier attempts to bury community servers were pants on head retarded though.
if those servers die too i guess i'll just be a full time grand strat autist or something
Weeaboo detected, go back to /vp/
1973
Pac-Man (Atari 2600)
Zelda (NES)
SMW (SNES)
Mario Kart 8 (WiiU)
I'm spooked OP. I'm too lazy to make my own, but I'm from 1991, my first game is also super mario land 2, my childhood defining game is unquestionably also CTR and I played the crap out of FTB not so long ago.
Top or bottom? :3
Every day I'm not playing at Round 1 is like a stab to the leg.

I only know mario from those lmaoo
I posted the japanese covers because it was among the first hits, but they are Vice: Project DOOM and Deception III: Dark Delusion
step aside stinky old men
how does anyone recall their first game anyway
>born less than 20 years ago
>forgot childhood already
nice alzheimer.
quit porn forever.
...
gee billy, how come your mom lets you have 2 consoles?
So is alot of Mario around here
muh neg
3, actually. I had a Gamecube, PS2, and an Xbox, though it was mostly my older brother who played on the Xbox. Halo co-op was the comfiest.
...
Well, it was for the most part bundles with both the NES and SNES, so it makes sense that a lot of people played that first. In fact, now that I think about it, mine wasn't Actually SMB, it was Montezuma's Revenge for the Colecovision, but I didn't own the console, I played at my cousin's. SMB was the first game I owned, that came with the console.
quite colourful
I miss colourful box art
It could've been some older pokemon game on one of my cousin's gameboys or my da's Atari that said it had 100 games in it or something, only hyper autists could remember that shit because their childhood and current life blends together
I'm assuming he's actually been playing games so early that he can't define what specific game he first played. I mean you may have played your first game aged 8, while others may have when they were 3 (via older siblings' consoles).
ok
well then state the 1st one you remember playing you sperg
if the first game you remember you were 15 you have problems
Calm down retard, I'm not him and you're only projecting your own alzheimer's. I can pinpoint the first game I played.
...
I know you're not him, but you were pretty much defending him
My first memory is of the first time I played video games, or at least one of the very first. I couldn't have been older than 3. I was playing Sonic 1 with my older brother and I kept running into the first enemy over and over because I didn't have the reflexes to press the jump button.
It might just be a memory of a memory at this point, though.
>I kept running into the first enemy over and over because I didn't have the reflexes to press the jump button.
are you a game journalist now?
Yeah because people only play games released in 2017 today
As though it's a crime, cool your beans faggot.
whats current favourite game?
modded minecraft
but I'm currently playing ps1 games on my Vita most of the time
I'm 19, my dad was born in '80 and still plays games. Don't feel weird about. Some of my Dad's co-workers are in their late 40s and play Warframe and Metro
For me it was playing on the PS1, games like Crash Bandicoot, Spyro and rugrats when I was around 3 years old. When I think of my most cherished bido game memories I think of those.

There are people posting RIGHT NOW that are 18+ but born after the Dreamcast was released stateside.
Nah
there are unvirgins born after the ps2.
>childhood defining piece of music is X-symphony by mozart
>a piece that came out when he was -200 years old
Okay now? Your point is irrelevant. I can do the same analogy with movies
>childhood defining movie is star wars
>a movie that came out when he was -20 years
or another one for good measure
>childhood defining superhero is spiderman
>a superhero that came out when he was -40 years
How you doing? Everything been going okay?
>being this mad for being young
you will grow up kid, maybe
>proven to be retard
>u-u mad
your objection was literally pointless
there is literally no way your childhood defining game was not "current-gen"
unless you lived in some bidonville in Mozambico
>there is literally no way your childhood defining game was not "current-gen"
>there is literally no way your childhood defining game was not "current-gen"
Except you have this whole thread to prove you wrong. It's just as wrong an assertion as with movies, cartoons, toys, books, music etc. Little kids aren't as autistic as manchildren with keeping up with latest 2017 releases (as in younger kids, not near-adolescents). You've never heard of a hand-me-down or something. Plus a lot of parents don't see the need to buy the latest expensive console for their 6 year old when they'd be just as satisfied playing bing bing wahoo on the Wii.
nice try birb but I can see you're not a new IP
>buying expensive games to childrens
It's like giving top quality food to pigs.
I honestly don't know what my first game was. I was 2 or 3 years old, which would put it around 1990. It was on the commodore 64.
user I think you have a severe imagination deficiency. I'd go as far as to say that most childhood defining games aren't current gen. Most little kids just pick something old up from their family, they don't get a brand new console as the first thing they ever play.
am I a normie?
...
god tier except for the last one
>Nightfire
>Monster Hunter
Nah, you just have good taste
>implying modern expensive games are better than older ones
