No. It's megaman tier at best. If you know all the patterns of a boss, the execution to deal with it isn't that hard. It might seem impossible for most genZ college drop out who could never en learn a full poem in their life, but for a functional adult, it's a mild challenge.

I'm seriously considering Cuphead at this point, I really like the aesthetic.

How many hours can I expect out of this game? Is it worth $20 or should I just pirate it? How difficult is it to find torrents?

I admit I don't have the game, but given all the streamers I've seen that game doesn't seem overwhelmingly hard. the worse part is dealing with a lot of RNG in patterns at times, that's it. with infinite lives this game is de facto easier than most 2D shooters from the 80's and 90's.

As with Dark Souls, it's casual trash that gets marketed hard enough for normies to give it a try, and then flip their shit over how 'hard' it supposedly is, when it is in fact a mildly challenging game and only 'hard' when compared to what modern video games have become.

All the bosses do the same patterns every time, its literally all memorization. The game even visualizes this for you when you fail. Its really not that hard.

DSP breezed through it. easy game

I beat it in 90 minutes, and I'm not even good at video gaymes.

I'd say I'm of average skill for someone born in the late 80s and thought it was mildly challenging but really easy to learn patterns and get good at. Now S rank grind on epert was truly a challenge.

unfair != hard. you could do everything in wizardy 4 right just to still lose by bad luck so its literally a savescum grind
