Ive heard the old anime is shit cause it leaves too much out, the 3 movies are shit cause muh animation, the 2016/7 show is shit cause muh animation, the video games are shit cause blah blah, the story turned to shit cause muh boats and less edge, and whatever else I missed is shit because people say everything ever made is shit.

I liked the movies, they left out a lot but if you've already read the manga/seen the original animu it's not that big a deal. The third one in particular was great

The artstyle in the manga has taken a bit of a dive recently and it hasnt had a really good edgefilled rip and tear moment for awhile like everything from tower of conviction and back but is still great

The people adapting it are always either not skilled enough in their field or dont have the funds, its a real shame but I enjoy the manga old anime 3 movies quite a bit

Old anime has amazing art and includes most of the stuff from the manga. Only problem is it ends really early in the story.
