Hate to admit it but I played the shit out of Resident Evil 4 on my old Iphone. Honestly it wasn't even bad but they cut alot of content.

I know RE4 has a ridiculous amount of ports, but am I the only one that realizes this and buys them anyway?

its like this and Soul Calibur 2 are games that I can pick up no matter what kind of mood I'm in and have fun 100% of the time

Huh. I like this thread already

Ever hear of Dawn of Sorrow mobile?

Never actually released but the rom's out there to try.

You could probably run a Gamecube version of RE4 on an iphone 8.

Dreamcast RPG ported to Neo Geo Pocket.
Also DOOM for the GBA (there's probably weirder ports of it, but still):
youtu.be/_TGoI6_AqBg

They should have just gone for a top/down or isometric view

>(there's probably weirder ports of it, but still)
There's a fucking cash machine port
They did with Gaiden, wasn't as ambitious.

Sony boys still mad

jedi outcast for the gamecube, with splitscreen multiplayer to make up for no online

I've had this fucking game sitting on my wishlist for MONTHS now waiting for it to go on even the slightest sale so I could feel good about buying it, but for $60 dollars they can fuck right off

I didn't even know an RE4 port of this existed.

Same way. I want it sooo fucking bad, but it should at max be as expensive as the 3DS version.

I didn't even know this existed. I might pick it up just for that map on tab experience.

>Check
>Not only are you right, but they got DOOM running on a printer
youtu.be/qa2tJQTJkCw
Also, I forgot there's a calculator version of DOOM.

You now remember Zeebo

WHAT

I love these threads so much.

Half Life 2: Survivor arcade game

is this doomrpg? I actually played this

Contra on DOS

I remember seeing this on my friend's iPhone 1 right around the time I was playing MGS4.

...

...

Don't worry, it's shit

is there even a way of getting it anymore?

>tfw last good JA game came out 18 (XVIII) years ago

...

Oh that Java game... it was great back in the days

...

You don't know what a port is, right?

Ah yeah my mistake, it's an original storyline.

Yo, Zuma on the iPod classic kicked ass, it actually worked really well with the touch wheel thing. Too bad my 80 gb monster died last year, I had it for 8 years and it was a good run. Why did they have to discontinue that model?

I still had fun with it, but when you go back and play the original you just wonder why they even bothered considering there was absolutely no chance the Wii could even handle DR1.

>wasn't as ambitious
Wasn't as unreleased either

RE4 is kinda like the Japanese equivalent of Doom, there's ports for it on fucking everything.
youtube.com/watch?v=RBh-vBFeegs

Does this even count as a port?

Unironically the best version

...

W H A T

I played this thru on Wii U and I loved it. Haven't played the other versions but having the hacking mini games and emails and all the augmentation stuff on the gamepad was so cool. I imagine it's a lot better than the other versions. I can't imagine using a normal controller for all that stuff

fake
would be amazing if real tho

...

I love ports of new games running on older hardware. Activision did such a good job with all the COD Wii ports

I call bullshit

this never released did it?

dat co-op tho

I know you can hook the Vita up with the PS3 version but I've never tried it so not sure how it compares.
Funnily enough that's the best looking version of the original.

Anyone play the Dead Rising "mobile port"?

It used a whole new map and had no story just mini missions.

Shit I actually played this a lot back then. It was pretty shitty but I had just gotten a smartphone so it was neat to play anything

Thief: Deadly Shadows Mobile

>vita with ps3 for deus ex
It's fucking dreadful, doesn't even have a proper UI like the Wii U version

The psp version of IL2 was good, how was the DS version?

Castlevania on DOS

...

I had this on my phone

...

Bionic Commando on Commodore 64. I believe it's a port of the arcade version, not the NES one.

its exists
youtube.com/watch?v=znBhZHRdFmA

Does it even do anything better than the OG?

>it doesn't even run at 60 fps

I remember that thing running like complete garbage. Still impressive they even got it to work.

Bloodborne on PC

This game was legit pretty great. Downloaded it on a flip phone during the hurricane and I was pleasantly surprised.

>it's just the mobile version

What is that, the Switch version of RE 4?

That looks like it's literally the exact boxes and text font from GB Pokemon games.

I did a CTRL+F for Daikatana and I didn't find anything so

Did it have gyro aiming? I'll pick it up if it does.

you could just hit F3

>isn't aware RE4 first released on a nintendo console

I got this game back in january because I hate digital only shit and I dont like to use my HDD space, but the goddamn game has a 13GB patch, the same size as the digital version of SA, wtf

>Implying the gamecube isn't stronger than a shitch

It does if I recall

I saw this at Toys R Us for Xbox

Street Fighter 2 had a lot of ports that covered various platforms not including Nintendo or Sega consoles, some very notorious for being really bad, such as the DOS port which has wonky hitboxes and the way the characters move is all fucked up. Also one button is assigned to randomly give you a punch or kick attack. There are a lot of other bad ones out there though.

...

It ran fine from what I remember but the textures were very low res.

underrated post
>tfw this will never get used

the advance version does look interesting tho and the sound seemed to be better

Does it run well enough? I already have it on PC but i'd be interested to give this a whirl for the cool gamepad stuff.

What is it

Maybe the vita scene will be able to make use of it soon enough

If you try to print anything on that printer all you get is

The bomb defusing minigames were a nightmare. still a pretty neat port though

It looked like shit, but it was really fun

Best version of HL2

intense

Wow I had no idea that was on steam, which version is it?
also
>$60

Right one is memory card reader? No Idea what left one is.

It gets weirder.
