>Soulsborne

Hello rebbit. We just call it Souls here.

>Wanting to sit next to a candle and go bald for eternity
Shit ending, Maiden in Black can choke on it

demon souls is the cuphead of dark souls

I wanted the better credits music

Soul Edge and Calibur are sequels to the soul games.

NONE OF THAT HAPPY ENDING BULLSHIT

is this the dark souls of meme's

can someone recommend me decent faith build for DaSII (bellkeepers pvp)

Get wrath of Gods and Great Heal and you're good to go.

that's not niggerly cheap shit
I just spent like 30 invasions (to get hidden weapon) using a +4 winged spear kinda want to continue this to 100 not being a cheap fuck.

You didn't say you wanted anything that requires skill and won't instantly make anyone hate you (though if you're a bellbro it's not like anyone will ever LIKE you anyways).

I say you can use Sunlight Blade on your spear but you should get that shit upgraded and if you're putting quality into your build use Pates Spear, it will have high damage when fully upgraded which you should be able to do by Iron Keep, or whichever bell tower you're in, and it has very long reach to keep Havels at bay. Remember to use Sunlight Spear because that can fuck people up but get good with positioning or else they're gonna dodge it every time. Use great magic barrier if you want but that will depend on your overall skills if you just want the boost. I recommend having a parrying shield like the target shield or buckler if you have the extra slots always get Sacred Oath. Denial is actually really good if you're willing to go get it.

and Force is always good, or Emmit Force, if you need to be a nig and heal.

For armour use the Dingey set if in NG+ if not use the cleric or sorcerer set.

that's more helpful than I was expecting. Why Pate's though? It does not have a swiping attack like "spear" and the partisan. Experience with the winged spear (also no swipe r2) makes me leery of weapons with one one style of attack.
>get good with positioning or else they're gonna dodge it every time.
I've only used it punish estus in the past. So you're saying manually pitch it with your character facing?
Is monastery scim worth it as a left hand wield? I've been two handing my spear with catalyst in my left no shield to save weight. Since once they get inside your range with the pokey spears you're fucked anyways.

>Soulsborne

Only raging faggots call it this.

You can use monastery but parrying with it was nerfed up Vendricks asshole. I recommend something like an axe actually since you get some good slashing hits in, which the few blows you'll need will get them to move back. Plus you can chain axe attacks. I say pates spear as an example mainly for the damage, it's not perfect and the move set can be limiting but you can get some good damage if you get the hits near the end of the spear and can quickly switch to your second weapon (and shield in offhand) if you can keep them leveled near the spearhead so you get prime damage and space.

If you're willing to pool in the stats you can get the great lance for max. damage.

Yes, manually pitch out the spells, get good at this in general, or, rely on the timing after casting.

Try to be flexible, have a full loadout and put in stats for weight if necessary, experiment with which of the spells I recommended you think you'll need more of or want more of in a fight.

Try to use the right rings, which this can depend on your playstyle but dont cripple yourself too hard into a glass cannon.

thanks again
gonna have 3free ring slots after dumping clear blue, corinthy and stone ring because spears stagger for shit what the most popular pvp ones besides Gower's?

Third dragon ring but you cant get that shit until the Dragon Shrine near the end of the game.

You can get 1 & 2 earlier but I dont remember how, I know you can get one from the scorpion man if you summon him to fight Najka.

she was a demon

Demon's Souls is the Dark Souls of Cupborne

Still waiting for the damn thing to play silky smooth 30fps with no stutter and fucking "recompilation"-tier long loading times.

t. have already finished the game years ago

if digital edition didn't dent those loading time nothing will.

i mean, the way the emulator is playing the game, it adds additional loading above what was in game already

do you have the specs for it?

wew

i was hoping my CPU was enough, but i think i need to upgrade to an 8thread CPU (was considering 6700/7700 series anyway).
Also, it freezes the rendering when trying to launch it with Vulkan instead of OpenGL.

no you fucking faggot

it is the citizen kane of dark's souls

It's the Demon's Soul's of Dark Soul's of Soul's borne's

Has RPCS3 updated with the new rendering shit yet? I can't keep up with this emulator.

no idea - i tried the latest version couple of days ago. It was overall better than i expected (mostly 25-30fps, with crazy stutter and freezes whenever entering new arena, because recompilator needs to bake the shaders specifically for compatible with CPU's set of instructions to speed up the rendering).
It wasn't satisfying to play that way (on the other hand, rpcs3 is in the alpha-state, so my hopes are high for it to be better in future - still haven't played first Darkness despite owning ps3 two times already)

>Soulsborne
>Needed to add Borne on the end so bloodborne fanboys don't shit up the thread in anger
Someday you will all die and that's something I can hold on to for hope

it's the Star Trek:TOS of souls-like

yeah i dont bother to try to test releases anymore because they're too frequent. but yeah rending in higher res is a private build still i think
the progress on this emu is great though

im on an i7 7700k
some areas are laggy for no reason though. probably a work in progress thing

The original Darkness is fucking great and definitely worth checking out when it's compatible (if it isn't already).

Alright cool, I'm just looking forward to seeing how my computer handles the new resolution stuff.
