SKD confirmed that was a typo. You dash by default. There is no walking.

Tap twice will make you start the dash at full speed
Tap once will accelerate you from walk to run gradually

Jury isn't out on that one just yet. All we know is that a bunch of moves might be mapped to continuous strings of 5AAAA or 5BBBB

It's only confirmed that Dash cancels still exist. People have only used 2X, 4X and 5X moves

It looks like a fucking fan game so far. Anyway, Hyde's Force Function is still there but it looks like its part of one of his autocombo routes. Harder to tell with the Persona characters, but Yosuke has his same autocombo from P4A.

Worst comes to worst with hazama is that they can just make him run like terumi does. I really don't know how they're gonna input both haz and haku otherwise in terms of their drive. Both drives are so crucial to their character that I don't know if I want to play any blazblue character if they get gimped because of no dedicated drive button. I mean I could live with hazama if they decided to make him a mix of both hazama and terumi to fit the whole two souls 1 body bit but otherwise count me out.

Like other have said, I have no idea how Rachel or Hazama would work without their Drive button. It's the key point to their entire playstyle.
Same with Tao, Litchi, and Arakune to a lesser extent.
Carl could probably work but wouldn't be nearly as effective.
Valk isn't going to work without a button to change forms mid-combo either.

Here's the thing. While japanese can be annoying, Ruby's voice is grating, every line sounds like shrieking and honestly hurts my ear to my ears to listen to. I actually have a minor headache from listening to the video. I don't even have this problem watching Gohan or Goku clone battles in DBFZ.

The problem with RWBY's setting is that 80% of the world building is done through supplemental videos they release, but even those barely flesh things out and sometimes directly contradict each other, making it seem like they're making shit up as they go along. Which they probably are.

Another problem with that is there's a lot of "tell don't show" moments. The biggest one being the supposed Faunus mistreatment Blake always goes on about yet we literally never actually see it in series so it just makes her look dumb half the time.
