Maybe a month ago, inspired by the HL3 leak. I was going to do the whole series, but Blue Shift on Steam is too buggy to even work sometimes, and HL2 just became tedious after awhile. The first game and OP4 though are great.

What mod is that? It looks neat but not so far removed from the base game.

HL wasn't engaging enough to warrant a replay. I'm still baffled that, despite that, they made a sequel even less interesting.

Doesn't chnage much really, adds nice gore effects and a kick.

1 is better than 2 in every way that matters. If you only play one of them, play the first game.

The 1st is better then the 2nd, but it is really old. You might want to get black mesa if you care about graphics.

Depends. I've only played it fully once. Made it halfway through the first time I played and lost my save file. Both times were within the last decade though

Start with 1. 2, weirdly enough, feels more dated, at least for me. Maybe because there are sections that stop you just for the sake of showing off the physics engine. The episodes are nice though.

There's also a single player mod called Point of View where you play as a vortigaunt in Black Mesa, really enjoyed that one.
