It really isn't that hard.
It really isn't that hard
This however is romhack feverdream tier.
"difficult" thing is a marketing campaign by microsoft
>Prinny 3 never ever.
Feels bad, dood.
I agree. I'm not even that good at vidya in general and I don't think it's that hard.
There are a couple of bosses that I really had to spend some time on and do repeatedly, and yeah sometimes it was a little bit frustrating, but it's not THAT hard.
If you complain about the difficulty in this game you are severely autistic.
The only people who claim it's hard are buttblasted video game """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""journalists"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" who don't even know how to hold a controller. Fucking Super Mario World is more challenging that this.
I almost forgot about those games since I havnt played my PSP in years. Fuck yes.
Prinny had some difficult execution that even if you know what to do you get fucked up.
Cuphead is trial and error and it just lets you retry immediately anyway.
i wanna be the game for casuals
This is Dark Souls all over again.
This game might make me buy an Xbox. I love the art style so much.
It's moderately hard, the perfect amount for me desu. Anything more and it's overkill, anything less and I'd be bored.
>buying an Xbox for a game that's also out on Steam
you're an Xbox-user alright
>Arin and Dan beat the tutorial no problem
Anyone else think Cuphead made Phil Fish and Super Meat Boy devs at least attempt suicide?
I'd rather buy a nice new console than a hugely expensive PC.
If you didn't get S rank on all the bosses you can't really call it not hard, tbqh.
If they made the game 3D, Arin would be lost and asking why the game doesn't hold his hand.
Not holding your hand =! difficult. Something not being easy doesn't make it difficult. Most people are too insecure they just suck at video games, so instead of facing that, they exalt the difficulty of the game.
Correct. Unless you're attempting A+ on every level.
That's when it gets hard. Too hard.
The game is not like Dark Souls. In Dark Souls, you can dodge everything. You may complete the game naked and at level 1 if you know how to dodge well.
In Cuphead, there are times where you cannot do anything but get hit. For example, after using your EX ability your character does not get an invincibility frame after executing the cast, meaning you may take damage from a projectile heading your way without you being able to avoid it. Sometimes you're pushed into a corner with nowhere to go and you have to take a hit to survive the level. RNG also plays a much bigger part in Cuphead than in Dark Souls.
Personally, I gave up on Cuphead after two hours. Not because the first couple of levels were too hard, not at all, but they were too hard to achieve A+ on without luck. My goal was to hit A+ on levels before moving on. But the RNG was too much for me.
A+ is a joke as well because the bosses die before they do anything on regular. S is the only hard thing
>A+
S isn't even that difficult, the worst part is the RNG involved in getting 3/3 parries.
>beat the game
>start redoing bosses on expert
>get to the frogs
>fuck this, I'm done with the game.
>the bosses die before they do anything on regular.
WSE abuser spotted
beat the game without cheating, faggot
Fair enough. I'm probably just too impatient for this genre.
You don't even have to cheat on regular
>implying the average player even has whetstone or charge by the time they reach beppi
>implying beppi is difficult or representative of the late game
Is smoke grenade a permanent upgrade?
>implying anyone goes for A+ the first time through
>implying the bosses get more HP
The gold time for every boss is the same, they don't get longer except for the dice man. The plane bosses are the only ones anyone should have issue getting an A+ on
smoke grenade is an accessory, you can set one at a time
There's smoke grenade, auto-parry, auto meter gain, whetstone (parry attack, can parry anything on a fresh jump), one heart with -5% damage and two hearts with -10% damage.
I'm about to finish the game and haven't bought anything yet.
I'm excited to see there are so many options.
