Are these games actually good? The first one always looked interesting, but when I look at pictures of later games my desire to play it goes out the window. Maybe I've just got the wrong idea about the series, but what I've seen of the first game looks fun, whereas the later games just look silly.

Also in 2 they literally said everything was a game and had heavy implications (which eventually ended up being true in 3) that everyone could be brought back to life after the virtual killing game.

I'm the opposite, I'm mad the three did end up surviving. I feel it invalidated their conviction in the last parts of the trial. And I think it would have made for a good twist on the usual ending formula of the series. Everyone goes in expecting at least some characters will survive, and in the end no one does.

Yeah, I was actually really sad when the game continued after the credits. It should've just left us with the slight disturbance of the rocks before Kiibo's death with no epilogue.

Every case in the first game I solved completely
Second game I solved Chapter 1, 3, 4 and 5 completely. Chapter 2 I didn't figure out how the culprit escaped.

Third game was a bit harder for me. First chapter I got too obsessed with the first Knox rule so I ended up figuring out the killing method but refused to pinpoint Kaede.

Second case I figured out completely though my logic was slightly different from the game (I didn't consider that Maki actually saw Ryouma)

Third case I drew a fucking blank on for some reason. I neither figured out the seasaw trick nor the spinny katana locking trick.

Fourth case I solved completely

Fifth case I pretty much solved completely. The only thing I didn't consider was Kokichi and Kaito teaming up for some crazy ass shit.

Chapter 6 is a little iffy. I pinpointed the mastermind but it's hard to tell with those last chapters if you've figured everything out or not.

I just think it's fun to try and solve them on your own first. If you get them right or wrong is whatever, it's the effort I find fun.

Hopeman, but having "LUCC" make up for all the holes in his plan doesn't really make it a fair contest.

What happened to Kokichi's keycard? Everyone acts like they don't know what it's for and then forgets about it.

Kokichi's keycard unlock the door to outside world at end of Despair Road minigame; it was explained in chapter 5. Others just believe Kokichi's lies and forget about it.
